fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more
[ ...Apparently there was still paper left over from writing questions + her flyers, because now over the rules in every room there's another flyer taped up:

Those sure are your lovely hosts for the evening. Regardless, heading to the foyer at the appointed time will net you the lovely sight of the foyer walls being covered in make-shift party streamers—toilet paper, actually, masterfully twirled and hung up by Ferid himself.
Also, the clock is absolutely draped with the stuff too. A good time was had in setting this up the hour before the party so no one'd ruin it.
As promised, there's a table with food! Tons of it, of all different kinds, including vegetarian (if we have any of those here). It's generally dinner stuff, but there's a table set aside particularly for a build-your-own-parfait bar. As far as refreshments go, it's water, tea, coffee, and ~*~HOT CHOCOLATE~*~!! Most of it's made by Cilan—the parfait is definitely the fault of your lovely lady host, though.
There's also a sheet with questions set aside, so be sure to pick it up! And remember: if you can't think if why your character'd come, Aligula's the type to make good on her word of dragging them/convincing them. Basically, don't sweat the small stuff. Even free food is a good reason.
Most importantly, mingle and have fun; that's what this party is for after all! Get to know each other and FIND YOUR SOULMATE!!! ]

"You're the one that I've dreamed of for years
You complete me, and dampen my fears
When I am with you
There are no limits to
The song of the heavenly spheres."
[ ...........it's a romantic limerick. ]
I think the haikus are gonna be the hard ones though, but like, I thought it'd be a totally fun thing to try anyway!

...Somehow I'm. Not surprised that you can just do that.
[Give him a damn second and let him count, he'll be tapping syllables out against his leg while he thinks.]
Love's only weakness
Is also its greatest strength:
It defies reason.

Oooh, that's good, that's good! [ Some applause for you, Mallick. ] What you lack in looks you make up for in wits, Impulsive!
[ ...he'd probably look nice if he smiled. HMMM. ]

[HE DOESN'T REALLY. DO THAT. VERY MUCH.]
It's...this is nice so far. The whole party thing.

You really think so? [ ... ] I've overheard some people laughing about my questions and commenting that it feels forced, but no one's tried fighting yet, so I guess that's nice.
[ ...she is kind of bummed about her questions, but hey! people are talking and connecting and possibly latently finding their soulmates via bonding over how ridiculous things are. she can't really be too upset over it. ]
I'm preeeettty sure most people came for the food or because they thought I'd make good on my threat though, not because they wanted to have a good time.

he sort of wants to headpat you now, holy shit]
The questions are okay? I wasn't...expecting questions, but they're not bad or anything.
[okay some of them are kind of bad but]
And I mean, speed-dating's always kind of. Like that. You've got a good turnout, though, and as long as no one's flipping a table or something it's going pretty good.
...Look at this group and tell me our first...get-together...thing like this wouldn't be completely fuckin' awkward.

well.
he has a point. like, looking at this group? he has a point. ]
...I guess. [ Hmmmm. ] Do you think our future parties'll be more exciting?
[ future parties BECAUSE OF COURSE THERE WILL BE. ]

...I don't see why not? I mean, we can't all, uh. Do this. Forever.

Nope! If people keep it up, I'll start pulling them off the walls, too, and dance them to the middle of the floor! Bumping into people's always a good way to kick off true love anyway, you know? It's in totally all the movies.
