Week 3.

WEEK 3 The end of the second week sees two more people dead, and two more rooms sitting empty in the dormitories. Nephenee and Rideaux Zek Rugievit are both gone, but with the start of the third week, it looks as though the game will continue on without them. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Meanwhile, it looks like another set of doors have opened up at the end of that southern hallway, leading to another long corridor stretching out to the east. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've earned it, after all. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 26

Katniss honestly can't find the words to describe her levels of what the fuck, so she's just. Going to stare at the shark. Thing. ]

Hey, Katniss! This is Sharpedo!

[Still on the ground, still being gently nommed by a shark]

.... It's a shark.

[ An excellent observation!! ]

A Sharpedo, but I guess that's close enough. Come say hi to him!

Is he gonna chew on me, too?

[rainofterror]

Ha! Nah, that's just us.

[He even pulls his arm free to demonstrate - no marks!] He's excited, it's been weeks!

[ ... okay. ]

Sure. [ ... Just approaching the huge shark thing, no big deal. She holds her hand out for him to sniff, and she's still not sure what to make of the whole thing... ]

[rainofterror]

[Sniff sniff, he's a shark. Sharpedo glances back towards Archie.]

Nah, she's good. She's trapped here same as us.

[Well, okay! Sharpedo butts up against Katniss with a grumble of solidarity. Being trapped here sucks, doesn't it, young human?]

[flagitate]

[ Okay, the giant shark is bumping up against her, this is fine. Katniss pats Sharpedo's nose. ]

For a while I thought all Pokemon were like Cilan's Stunfisk.

[ Read: She's glad they aren't all that weird?? ]

Nah, there's all types. Not a lotta them look like Stunfisk, but I wouldn't say they're the weirdest ones out there. Unova's also got...oh, what're they called...

[He waves a hand]

The walkin' trash bag ones.

[flagitate]

Unova's a weirder place than Hoenn.

I'd say so, yeah. That's where Vanillite live too. They're Ice-types, but they kinda just look like floatin' ice cream cones.

[flagitate]

They-- what? No way.

[rainofterror]

[Archie grins.]

Better believe it. And when they get older, it looks like they're growin' more scoops! [He chuckles.] Actually it's just another head.

[flagitate]

I don't believe it. Things just don't grow heads. Unless they're irradiated, or something.

[rainofterror]

Yeah, that does help.

... So are they irradiated?

[rainofterror]

Some of 'em are, a tad. Mostly poison-types, but Doduo and Diglett grow heads too and they're not. Kinda a thing in that region.

[flagitate]

[ UM... ]

Yeah, they're poisonous. I've got a couple - maybe you'll be able to meet 'em!

[flagitate]

No way. I'm not getting anywhere near something poisonous.

[rainofterror]

[Archie laughs.]

Aw, they're not gonna poison you! Long as you don't try to eat 'em or somethin'!

[flagitate]

I'm not gonna eat something poisonous.

[rainofterror]

Then you're good, ain't ya?

Pretty much any type of Pokemon can be dangerous if you don't treat it right. Same as anyone else around here... [Apparently, jeez] You show 'em respect, they'll show you the same.

[flagitate]

I guess so.

[ ... Haha. ]

So they're just like any other animal. In that way, anyway.
