Week 1
Unfortunately (or fortunately, for those of you who decided he ranks at an 8 or higher) the Adjudicator has made an appearance and he doesn't seem to be lying about anything that's happening here. There's no way out. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Adjudicator told you about are still hanging in every room. While the Adjudicator himself is around, you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Competitors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. You'll notice that the clock in the foyer goes off periodically, however. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in; it seems it's being piped in over that PA system in the walls. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]
Wandering around
It's no surprise that the black-haired male emerges into the same area she does at the same time -- probably nearby the Laundry Room. He has a pen and paper of his own, and he gives her a slight smile. ]
Hey, Katniss. Good to see you around -- how's the whole mapping out thing going on your end?
no subject
[ She'll show him what she's got. It's pretty thorough, so far, with notes about what's in the different rooms, too. ]
Just this. What about you?
no subject
He'll show her his. ]
Y'know for your first time putting together a map, that looks pretty impressive.
And for now it looks like we have a limited range of where we can look into, judging by the locked doors, but when those open up I have a feeling continuing with our map is going to be helpful.
no subject
[ Wow, a compliment. ]
You really think he's going to open up those doors?
no subject
[ Because hey a compliment. ]
Well, the guy'll either open them up or we'll tear them down eventually. Guy can't keep us locked in such a short space forever, even though there's the crap about Rule one or whatever.

[ .... ]
Juri's got something powerful backing him, which could make him tough to beat, and with everything else factored in, he has the clear advantage over us. It's a tough pill to swallow, not being able to do much about it for now. But, I'm not going to give up to a scenario like that.
[ Yuri has his own doubts -- he doesn't know if what they'll ever do will prove fruitful or if they will escape from this tiny place in the mansion or the mansion itself. He's not some kind of amazing guy or leader, who's able to support everyone either, or have endless optimism. But, if he didn't at least try to struggle, what would be the point? ]

Katniss draws on the corner of her map--just idle scribbles, more than anything. He's got a point, and Katniss... well. She can almost admire the fact that he's so... resilient. ]
So we just face it head on. Whatever comes our way.
no subject
Pretty much. It's the only thing we got going for us for now.
[ He rubs the back of his head with a free hand, relinquishing a sigh. Honestly, he had been hoping it was some kinda bad, fever dream, but it's become apparent things are real as day. ]
Man...this is shaping up to be one hell of a week.
no subject
Yeah.
[ And not in the exciting way. ]
You're bored, too?
no subject
[ Although if there's any glue in the storage room, nothing will be able to stop Yuri from trying to glue Juri's personal office room door shut. ]
Anyway, not much to do around here except twiddle our thumbs for a bit, investigate, and mess around with a piano.
no subject
Could've given us something else other than a music room.
no subject
I'd say they should've given us a "garden" but it'd have to be some kind of indoor one, huh?
[ He doesn't know how that'd be possible, but at least it'd be kind of like they're outside again. ]
no subject
That might've been too much work to set up. Or something.
[ ... But it sounds amazing, she'll be honest. ]
no subject
[ He'll snort; admittedly he would've liked it a lot. He's always been one for outdoorsy stuff, and already he's sick of this place. ]
no subject
Wonder if he'd like us running down the halls at an early hour. Right outside his office.
no subject
Gotta say. It'd be worth getting up early to find out too.
I say we go for it.
[ Trouble maker central. Here it is. ]
Where do you get these great ideas? I need to know.
no subject
[ Actually, it comes from fighting the system, Yuri. Kind of. ]
no subject
[ Fighting the system is the way to go, Katniss. ]

Unless you've got any better day to pick. I can go for whatever's easiest.
[ Any day is cool with him, honestly. ]
