Besides, I don't fear dying. There's no sense in living without risk involved; if the terms for the challenge involve death if I fail, then that's fine.

At the same time, not fearing it doesn't mean I want to encourage the process any, and if it looks like I'll die due to the group's stupidity then I'm not going to tolerate that.
