Trustfell 5: A Good Day to Trust Fall ([personal profile] trustfellowship) wrote in [community profile] trustfelled2017-07-30 11:45 am

Week 9.

WEEK 9

Another two have joined the deceased. All of the deaths that have come to pass over the past two months have taken a toll on the group, so strongly that it's almost palpable; the deaths of Ryoji Mochizuki and Sakura Kashima have only dragged you down even further, the weight of them bearing down heavy on your shoulders, tugging at the edges of your mind.

You can't continue like this for much longer, can you?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

It seems, however, that your journey through the hospital is at an end, at least for now; search though you might, you won't find any new rooms or corridors this week.

That's either a good sign, or the exact opposite; it seems that only time will tell.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 8

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

Just as a reminder - the Transmitter will not be available for contact this week!]

ANNOUNCEMENT.

[personal profile] transmittable 2017-07-30 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[ During the week, you've had some strange occurrences. Between the random spaces closed off and the near-constant background music, it must seem like this is all leading up to something. That there will be some kind of climactic event or something.

On Tuesday, that happens. Of course it's a Tuesday, right?

There is no normal announcement. No incentive. Instead, the music goes dead a little after noon, and static replaces it. The flickering of the lights increases, until one by one rooms darken. It's leading you somewhere.

You should probably know where, by now.

The media room is waiting for you, every monitor covered with static. Grainy breathing filters through the PA, until suddenly something very different is broadcasting.

In the static, an almost mechanical, patchwork voice sounds. It's not like the voice of the Transmitter, but instead almost as if it's many voices pieced together. It's like an auditory ransom note. With the voice, the words appear on the screens, one by one. ]

Congratulations, pals. You've reached. The end. Prepare.
All will end. One last game.
Who will win?
You?
Or
Us?

[ As the radio voice is overtaken by that...screeching, that chirping screech, they leave one more message in that hodgepodge voice. ]

Watch your time.

[ On every monitor now, there's replaced with a timer. It's counting down to Thursday. To your last investigation.

Before the same music you've grown accustom to returns, there's one last broadcast. It plays garbled through the PA, as the lights in the hospital slowly return to their sub-par state of normal. The throwback versions of more modern songs return, more grainy than before, and that is all you'll hear today.

You have a few days, Patients. Good luck. ]

Chalkboard attempts within!

[ George grabs a quick breakfast in the kitchen, though he seems to take an awfully long time to eat a small amount of foot. The only thing he doesn't seem to have trouble getting down is coffee. There's a lot of coffee.

Then he makes his way to the conference room, to try a chalkboard message: ]

GOOD MORNING. CAN YOU DELIVER A FEW MESSAGES FOR ME? -xoxo GEORGE.

[ After this, he can be found visiting every single spot where a corpse has been found, just kind of staring and then moving on further. He lingers longer in the library and the gym. ]

PAINTY

[personal profile] journalname 2017-07-31 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Late Sunday morning, Asgore attempts to enter the chapel. Anyone lucky enough to be there at that exact moment will get to see him walk headlong into the transparent barrier! He stumbles back, rubbing his muzzle and sneezing several times in a row.

Once he's recovered, he spends several more minutes investigating the doorway: running his paws along the edges, testing its strength. In the end, it's just the same as the one blocking off the pool.]

There is no way around... [He sighs.] Perhaps another room, then.

[For a little while after, he can be found in the garden, sitting beneath one of the trees with a cup of tea. Ryoji's potted flower is sitting next to him.

Afterwards, he takes some paints, spreads a towel out on the floor before the window in the external foyer, and starts to doodle some green trees on it. Maybe the painter - whether it was Chalky or not - will return.]

[ Well, at least someone still has excitement. How nice...? ]

HOW ARE YOU AND THE OTHERS HOLDING UP OVER THERE?

[Oh, how fun! Asgore will take a moment to rinse his brush, then paint a little smiley face in purple. It's got horns and long ears on it.]
georgeous: (Serious talk)

WHAT IS IT?

[ This is written very quickly, the next line follows only after a pause for thought. ]

PHYSICALLY THEY ARE ALSO DEAD. WHAT DO YOU MEAN FOR NOW?
georgeous: (Eyes hidden totally)

[personal profile] georgeous 2017-07-31 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
[ ..... ]

'STILL' AND 'FOR NOW' ARE NOT ENCOURAGING TERMS.

[ Nachetanya's meanwhile, are more so .......... ah, this feels more awkward to write out on a chalkboard than he thought it would. ]

FUNNY SHE SHOULD SAY THAT, HOWEVER. I WAS GOING TO HAVE YOU TELL HER THAT I'LL HONOR THE PROMISE I COULDN'T MAKE TO HER DIRECTLY. WE'LL WIN. SHE CAN COUNT ON THAT.
georgeous: (Displeased AND smug)

[personal profile] georgeous 2017-07-31 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
[ ... and she sends that message anyway and then won't even be available for an answer. He smiles wryly at that. ]

TO GET THAT OUT OF THE WAY, I HAVE A FEW MORE MESSAGES I'D BE GLAD TO SEE DELIVERED. THANKS ♥

TO RIN: WE'RE ALL WORKING TOGETHER NOW. IT'LL BE FINE.

TO RYOJI: SHE ISN'T SPEAKING TO US ANYMORE. IF THERE IS ANYTHING WE CAN DO, TELL US.

TO MADISON: IF REVIVAL IS POSSIBLE, WE WANT TO GO FOR IT. TIPS APPRECIATED.

[personal profile] journalname 2017-07-31 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh, gosh, how cute! He'll draw a little heart back, still in purple - though it's not filled in, a heart rather than a soul-shape.]
georgeous: (Fabulous)

[personal profile] georgeous 2017-07-31 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
IS THAT RYOJI OR YOU SPEAKING? YOU SEEM TO KNOW HER AS WELL.

[...he cleans and dips his brush again, and only starts to slightly regret it after he's already daubed it in the pale blue paint. But he's already come this far.

Asgore paints a little spray of forget-me-nots to go with the other flowers.]
