onedrinkwithme: (forgive me)

[It is rather funny in an ironic sense: one would not think in a place like Eorzea that such hate does not exist. But Aymeric knew better: highborn and lowborns distrusted each other, the idea of two races mixing is more of an outcry than those of the same sex. And seriously, Ishgard closed themselves off from everyone else: he knows for a fact that yes, his people and at one point, himself was the same way. He will not deny that fact. Listening to Aligula rant on...while he should stop it, he knows that they all just went through an emotional ordeal. Mayhap it was just her trying to process it. All he can do is theorize.]

I suppose it is the cost of mortality. True that I am elezen but myself and many others are upheld to the same ideals and values. Conflicts occur because we are mortal and communication is never perfect in between. Tis something that should be worked on but again, how we were raised changes our views.

While I hold myself and most would assume to be a nobleman, I was not always that way. Coming from humble beginnings and realizing that yes, I am a mortal, that is what drives me personally. Methodical was also driven due to his beliefs no matter what the cost; horrible yes but still.
