Week 3.
The end of the second week sees two more people dead, and two more rooms sitting empty in the dormitories. Nephenee and Rideaux Zek Rugievit are both gone, but with the start of the third week, it looks as though the game will continue on without them. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Meanwhile, it looks like another set of doors have opened up at the end of that southern hallway, leading to another long corridor stretching out to the east. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've earned it, after all. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]
dining hall
... Hey, Angel, [ she says, albeit a little awkwardly. ] Toast, huh.
[ We didn't go to the Justice Building or anything. But we have this marriage ritual in District Twelve.
... God. She has to stop dwelling on that stuff. ]

[She looks down at it.]
Yeah, it was about all I could manage before things closed up. You want a quarter? No offense, but you look like you could use it.
no subject
[ She's not complaining, but... ]
no subject
[She pushes the plate over towards her.]
If I had more tea I'd offer you some of that too, but... I only made enough for myself.

Katniss takes a seat next to her and breaks off a quarter of the toast. She nibbles at it before glancing at the book. ]
Where'd you get that book?
no subject
[She's not Zer0 she doesn't know to call it a Dojo okay?]
You haven't been down there yet?
[There's a slightly worried tone to that, but mostly it's curious. Everyone seems in a rush to explore the new hallway right away the day after trials.]
no subject
Dealing with some-- stuff.
no subject
Dream stuff?
[God knows hers was a doozy.]
no subject
[ She picks at the piece of toast, eyebrows knitting together. She's at least a little calmer, since talking to... well. A lot of people. ]
You had one, too?
no subject
[Or at least hoped she wouldn't have to.]
It's been one hell of a think to have in my head all day, but... if yours kept you here like that it's probably worse.
no subject
She wants to tell Angel, I'm glad you didn't do that, because we wouldn't have met. But if she gets close to her, and-- ]
I'm doing better than earlier. [ Like, a lot better. ] ... But it was pretty bad.
no subject
Then I'm glad you're feeling better, even if it's just a little. The stuff over there is pretty neat, when you get a chance to check it out.
no subject
[ She takes another bite of the toast. ]
So a library. Any good stuff to read?
no subject
[If it's from a bunch of different worlds, though, that sort of makes sense.]
Even uh. Romance novels. [A quiet, embarrassed gesture to the one she's been poking at.] But mostly this just makes me feel out of my depth.
no subject
[ ... oh. ]
You and me both. I can't believe people read this stuff.

Sounds like whoever wrote it just wanted to fill the pages with words. Is that seriously all that book is?
no subject
I mean they... they have sex for like ten pages? It's like someone took a short story and soaked it in a jar of adjectives. And really weird euphemisms for body parts.
no subject
Weird euphemisms, huh. Do I even want to know?
no subject
Apparently, the guys arms are the branches of a mighty tree, and his uh. Other relevant body part for this scene is a pillar? Like... one of the ones that hold buildings up?
no subject
Sounds like a seriously heavy guy.
