Week 3.
The end of the second week sees two more people dead, and two more rooms sitting empty in the dormitories. Nephenee and Rideaux Zek Rugievit are both gone, but with the start of the third week, it looks as though the game will continue on without them. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Meanwhile, it looks like another set of doors have opened up at the end of that southern hallway, leading to another long corridor stretching out to the east. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've earned it, after all. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

No, that can't-
You must destroy... me.
No, no, no, that can't have happened. That didn't happen, she... she had just... how did they get into the Control Core? That had been... it had been a plan, sure, but it was last resort, if everything else went wrong, but most importantly if the Vault Hunters and Sanctuary had all survived.
Jack spent years pumping me full of Eridium, using me to charge his Key and manipulate his enemies. Destroying the Eridium injectors that keep me... alive... will stop the key from charging...
They had all survived, and she had planned to die. Was that... if this dream was real, if these dreams were real, then...
...and end a lifetime of servitude.
Even if she wanted to, she couldn't go home again.
Angel spends the day exploring the new area in something of a daze, mostly holed up in the library with a stack of big complex fiction books beside her, because they feel like what she should be reading, but... actually reading a book of fairy tales. Or in the dojo with a defensive pad set up against the wall awkwardly that she is... well, she's trying to punch it. That's obviously what the thing she is doing is supposed to be. But she doesn't have the muscles for doing it for very long, so eventually she sets it down and sits against the wall, hands gripped tight into fists.
Or, much later, she can be found in the dining hall after everyone else is gone from it, with some toast and tea and a small book she is trying very hard to make sure no one sees her reading.]

... Hey, Angel, [ she says, albeit a little awkwardly. ] Toast, huh.
[ We didn't go to the Justice Building or anything. But we have this marriage ritual in District Twelve.
... God. She has to stop dwelling on that stuff. ]

[She looks down at it.]
Yeah, it was about all I could manage before things closed up. You want a quarter? No offense, but you look like you could use it.
no subject
[ She's not complaining, but... ]
no subject
[She pushes the plate over towards her.]
If I had more tea I'd offer you some of that too, but... I only made enough for myself.

Katniss takes a seat next to her and breaks off a quarter of the toast. She nibbles at it before glancing at the book. ]
Where'd you get that book?

Kyouko decides to head over to the table, taking a seat across from her. ]
It does. Although, it's not surprising with the dreams some of us have been having along with everything else.
no subject
[It seems to be a common theme this week, and Kyouko is up too.]

[ Maybe a little worse? It's hard to tell with everything going on. ]

Isaac is one of those people who has a lot of trouble sleeping. As such, this usually involves a lot of note-taking or wandering around at night in an attempt to tire himself out. The dojo is nice, but since he spent a good amount of the day there he's actually just out wandering tonight.
He wasn't expecting to see Angel still up, so naturally he approaches. He's also ridiculously quiet for a guy that tall? So um. He's going to try to get a peek at what she's reading before speaking up.]
Hey, what are you still doing up?
no subject
Um! You know, just... had a little trouble getting to sleep right away.
no subject
Oh, yeah. Same here. It hasn't gotten any easier.
[BUT HE WILL SPARE YOUR DIGNITY AND NOT COMMENT ON THE BOOK]
no subject
Mmhm. Did you... have a weird dream last night too?
no subject
[and oh man was it something...]
Have you talked to anyone who thinks they could be memories?
[Because he's already gotten that and is not sure what to think about it.]

Angel. Hey. Have youuu found anything good to read?
[BECAUSE HE SURE HASN'T.]
no subject
Nnnnope, that's uh. Why I was looking!

[She looks around.]
What kind of things were you looking for? To read.
no subject
[He takes a step back. Maybe, he can place his book on the shelf so she won't even realize he has it.]
Not much of a books person, but, always time to branch out.

He spots her awkward attempt at practice, and then the way she slides down, upset and --
Yeah he's gonna just come on over. ]
...Hey, you doing alright?
no subject
[She's not fine, not really, she can't even bring herself to lie on that point.]
...angry.
no subject
[ He can understand that. ]

[She sighs forlornly and looks over at the back. It's as though it gazes back at her, defiant.]
Unfortunately, and this might shock you given my substantial girth and height, I'm not great when it comes to punching.
