Week 1.
Despite how unhelpful she seems, one thing has become very clear after talking to the Transmitter: there's no way out of here. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Transmitter told you about are still hanging in every room. You'll be left up to your own devices now – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Patients for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. However, your wake-up call in the morning isn't exactly a pleasant one - loud bursts of static over the intercom can be heard early in the morning, pulsing almost as though it's following some sort of pattern, though it isn't possible to discern exactly what that pattern might be. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

There really isn't much of a way to starve off nicotine addiction symptoms, and when one isn't even trying to quit, she can only imagine they're unbearable. Quitting cold turkey rarely works, either, not without the help of patches and the like. There isn't even a gym where he can work off the addiction with proper exercise...
Sympathetically, the best Tsubasa can do is offer him a box of pretzel sticks and some water. The saltiness and the general shape of them might satisfy the hand-to-mouth component of it, at least, even if it's only a small part of the problem. ]
Hang in there, Kogami-san.
no subject
He'd love to just workout and it'd be his go to if there was one. Instead all he can do is walk the halls restlessly and pray that maybe he can get a catnap in.
Though he appreciates the gesture and picks up one of the pretzel sticks like a cigarette, between his index finger and thumb. A small moment of peace and he almost wants to put it up to his lips like he's going to smoke it if only out of habit, but he knows. Instead he just eats it.]
Thanks. I really appreciate it.
[His voice is forced, like a grunt, but he really does appreciate someone being nice to him even though he hardly deserves it.]
no subject
[ Maybe he'll have better luck, though? ]
no subject
[He sounds like he's dying, but holy cow he's in a lot of pain and this is not a fun ride at all.]
no subject
Perhaps we can try something to pass the time. Maybe a word association game? Or I can try and make you a Sudoku, if you'd like.
no subject
[There's a rare slight sound of desperation in his voice.]
no subject
Okay, let's try..."Book".
no subject
Story.
[He sounds like he doesn't want to do this, but the fact that he is, well, it's telling that maybe he's softer than people would think.
Or he really just wants a distraction.]
no subject
Good. Don't think about it, don't look too hard into it, just, first thing to come to mind.
Rumor.
no subject
[First thing that comes to mind, huh? Well, this shouldn't be too hard.]
no subject
[ Everyone is so chatty between lessons...it's a little unbecoming, but, as class president, she can't help but be aware and keep her ears open-- ]
no subject
[Ah, that honestly makes him remember old days. The ones where his life was in order and his psycho-pass was clear. He had a future. He had a best friend.
...heh, how he's fallen.]
no subject
[ Goodness, what she wouldn't do to have one of those here. ]
no subject
Study.
no subject
Exams.
[ ...Ah, those should be on the horizon soon, shouldn't they... hopefully the Transmitter wasn't lying about time being odd, here. ]
no subject
Hmm...]
Placement.
[Placements into jobs that make people the 'happiest'.]
no subject
[ That one, on the other hand, is instantaneous; after all, she's in her final year, so the idea of entrance exams is a looming threat to all students...
Hanekawa, of course, is expected to take top marks as always. Not that it matters, though. ]
no subject
[That one's a quick answer for him, too. Universities prep people for whatever they're going to be in the system.
For better or for worse.]
no subject
[ Though math kind of reminds her of a friend. His prospects are low, but, he's clearly more focused during subjects like algebra than he is in other classes... ]
no subject
[When you have an equation, you're probably meant to solve it. He thinks.]
no subject
[ Not bad. Not bad at all. ]
no subject
[Hmm... he wonders where this will go.]
no subject
[ Simple. Dostoyevsky. She's well read. The association is quick. ]
no subject
[The two seem to go together a lot in books he's read. Sin and punishment.]
no subject
[ To go from books to sin-- ]
Penance.
