Trustfell 5: A Good Day to Trust Fall ([personal profile] trustfellowship) wrote in [community profile] trustfelled2017-06-05 11:51 am

Week 1.

WEEK 1

Despite how unhelpful she seems, one thing has become very clear after talking to the Transmitter: there's no way out of here. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Transmitter told you about are still hanging in every room. You'll be left up to your own devices now – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Patients for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge.

However, your wake-up call in the morning isn't exactly a pleasant one - loud bursts of static over the intercom can be heard early in the morning, pulsing almost as though it's following some sort of pattern, though it isn't possible to discern exactly what that pattern might be. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

PATIENTS REMAINING: 30

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]
heritrix: (so that's how it is)

Point taken. Sheesh, a month and a half. That's a persistent abomination.
yourpiecenow: (now the camera's on)

[personal profile] yourpiecenow 2017-06-08 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
... Well, I mean, I guess she's my coven sister or whatever bullshit. [... she just felt a twinge of defensiveness for queenie she hopes that never happens again.]
heritrix: (commentary)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-08 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
...Then how did that come about? Did a spell go wrong?
yourpiecenow: (and it's hard to dance)

[personal profile] yourpiecenow 2017-06-08 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Born that way, baby. Pretty much everybody has their weird magical specialty-- like, I'm really good at telekinesis. Queenie can stab herself to cut you open.
heritrix: (mudkips?)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-09 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
[Born that way, okay. Madison must be talking about Origins--]

Telekinesis? And you're born with it--

[A lightbulb goes off over Rin's head, the pieces sliding together. She's been listening with attentive if reserved interest, but now her expression alights with amazement.]

No way. You're psychics!
yourpiecenow: (I am done with my graceless heart)

[personal profile] yourpiecenow 2017-06-09 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
... No. We're witches. Did I stutter at some point?
heritrix: (chin up)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-09 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
[/SWEATS. She got too excited.]

R-Right. I forgot for a second, since that what you'd normally call it. You know, telekinesis, telepathy, precognition. You always see those lumped together as ESP.
yourpiecenow: (fooling everyone)

[personal profile] yourpiecenow 2017-06-09 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, yeah, I guess that's what normal people would call it. But, no, it's witchcraft all the way down. Or voodoo. Or ghosts. I think there's vampires too?
heritrix: (pop)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-09 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
[But are there vampire forests]

Vampire witches, or just vampires? That feels like an important distinction.
