come out of hiding, i'm right here beside you
[A while after the execution has ended, everyone will find a simple note slipped under their door.]
If you don't want to be alone after everything that's happening, some of us will be in the dining room. Even if you decide not to come, please remember that you aren't alone here.
[The note isn't signed, but the handwriting is feminine and neat.
For anyone who decides to come, there's a good array of food laid out on the table. There are some small and simple cakes, cookies, and pastries, a healthy amount of okonomiyaki, okayu, and other Japanese dishes (with a focus on rice and eggs), along with curry. In addition, there are pancakes, and a large pot of soup. It looks like a few people collaborated to make enough food for everyone here.
Just like the meal they shared together earlier in the week, the candles from the storage room lend a more peaceful light than the fluorescent lights above.]

[ He's not... used to people talking back anymore. But he will not say this. ]
I'm sure anyone would like some time away from their annoyances.

I'm avoiding someone for the same reason, so I can't disagree with that.
[There are several things after that trial that Rin is curious to ask George about, but she reasons he might shut her down and tell her to leave for voicing either, let alone both. But one question is more pedantic than the other, and obviously tied to a deep scorn for some of their fellow Patients here. Rin decides to test the waters with what she sees as the harder hitting question then, finding it easier if only by comparison.]
Out of curiosity, what would be worth sacrificing all of our lives to you? You said you'd sacrifice even yourself along with us to save civilians, so it made me wonder.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not the self-sacrificial type. Dying young sounds horribly wasteful. But my job is to make sure the population of earth is alright. For that end, I'll take every measure necessary. Weighing all of your lives against the annihilation of a town, for example, makes us seem trivial. The well-being of the majority wins when there is absolutely no other way to deal with a situation.
As an agent, I always know that my work may put my life on the line. But I don't want to die and I don't want any of you to die either. My priority right now is to see to it that we experience no further death here.

George is a man used to handling responsibilities normal people don't often have to consider. The expression Rin watches him with as he explains himself is one of new-gained respect, albeit reserved.]
And does that go for all of us?

Yes. I don't have any fondness for Asgore and I trust him less than any of you, but unless he starts posing an active threat, I do not wish to see him dead. I'll keep an eye on him. That is all. Our organization does not have a shoot on sight policy.
