Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

As I said, the capitol of Piena's probablty the largest city in the world. We're supplied by the surrounding farmlands and live quite near a large lake which can irrigate everything for miles and miles.
journalname: (🔱 it's getting colder)

And yet, you love her.

[Half-question, half-statement. The secrets do all seem to be truths, after all.]
journalname: (🔱 twilight shines)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-27 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
That is inconvenient, yes...but at least if they could make it back to the rooms, they could likely wake someone.
aspiringly: (don't you think it's a fine day?)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-27 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
Destiny, is it? That's a little strange to hear from someone who's said to dislike fate.
journalname: (🔱 wtf man)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-27 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
At least it is a little better than missing both. He could smell if his cake was burning?
protectandselfserve: i'd swim in a blizzard. (lovely weather for swimming!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-27 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm... it's a bit difficult to explain to someone who has no concept of what it is. Basically, though, we make a lot of machines do things for us by occasionally burning really toxic things!
aspiringly: (now let me think on this.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-27 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Then we're in the same position. I haven't had much reason to go looting these before, myself.

[It's probably kind of silly, but he'll take a look inside the opening where the items are dispensed.]

A light may help, but that aside, there doesn't seem to be much room to allow us to tamper with it. It's an obvious target, so I shouldn't be surprised.
protectandselfserve: as long as it doesn't cut into the personal swimming pool in the evidence room fund. (why i can spare a $50!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-27 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes. But I feel like we've got some good amateur detectives here!

...

Other than Kogy, who is a regular detective.

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-27 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
[...] I never said it was a good thing.
protectandselfserve: ah, those were the days. (aha! an honest to goodness objection!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-27 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I definitely agree! I'm sure we could work around it, although I would hope that I wouldn't accidentally offend someone in hieroglyphics.
aspiringly: (now let me think on this.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-27 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
It's possible that small items have been dropped in and overlooked by whoever cleans it, although I wouldn't be able to say anything for certain. Still, any clues would be worth the trouble.

[Unfortunately, he doesn't have any goggles or know of any conveniently lying around! Unless they McGyver something really silly.]
aspiringly: (don't you think it's a fine day?)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-27 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Please. I don't have much in the way of artistic talent myself, so it would be appreciated. It would be interesting to see what you can do as well.

[personal profile] enhancements 2017-06-27 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know enough about the rest of you to know if that sentiment is returned.

[...she's. she's doing her best.]
enhancements: (Default)

[personal profile] enhancements 2017-06-27 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
In that case, I don't know if I would have ever known about it. So it wouldn't have mattered one way or another.

[...Well, she's...technically...not wrong...]
georgeous: (Command)

[personal profile] georgeous 2017-06-27 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
That is true, although I think it is just a matter of knowing how to prioritize. Even if everyone shared their secret here, we'd still not be able to judge the weight it'd have for them back home and whether or not they'd kill for it.
journalname: (🔱 faded)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-27 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
It would be simple enough to break in if I had my magic...but that would likely destroy the items inside, anyway. So perhaps it is just as well.
aspiringly: (that's quite the tale you have there.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-27 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Even so, it's impossible to control how everyone will respond. As reasonable as it would be to consider the context, I'm sure there are those who will react spontaneously regardless. Impressions are a powerful thing, after all.
cadmiums: (ᴠɪɪɪ)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-27 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds like my weekends, except I'm usually hanging out instead. I don't think I could ever study that much!
cadmiums: (x)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-27 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder if...it sounds similar to apathy syndrome, except those who are affected waste away.
nachetanya: (Dream Drop Distance)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-27 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder if there's some rules for it...

[ Hmmm. Actually. ]

Do you have a pen?
nachetanya: (358/2 Days)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-27 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
[ UM??? ]

... Couldn't you burn other things?
protectandselfserve: as long as it doesn't cut into the personal swimming pool in the evidence room fund. (why i can spare a $50!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-27 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe I ought to suggest it to him? I really do wonder...
cadmiums: (xx)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-27 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
It sounds like a beautiful place to live-- I'm sure you're a great princess to your people too.
nachetanya: (Whispers of the Old Gods)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-27 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
I do try to live up to the title Augustra.

N-no... I'm afraid I'm not very talented.

[Staring at the ground]

Kitagawa-san is the professional...

I can also tell him to try your idea, if you'd like.
