Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

Don't you at least prefer to know where you're sleeping? I don't mind sleeping for a long time, but... It was startling to wake up in a completely different place than I fell asleep.

Maybe there is, but I'm not knowledgeable in defense. And you humans are too fragile, one wrong hit and you'd fall down. I don't want to be accused of murder because I get fraked out and hit someone over the head, that'd--I better avoid that.

But is it so empty even if there's something to aspire to? Even if you see the struggle itself as meaningless, much can be accomplished in its wake.

We do not always choose who it is that we love. And it can be a beautiful thing - but it does not mean that the one you love should cause you pain. You deserve to be treated well.

Oof. I'm an honor student with a reputation to uphold, so if I slacked off for more than a day it'd spell trouble for me.

[But she has her magic studies too, so that's twice the workload.]

Maybe we should consider holding a training session-- if nothing else it'll hopefully give someone the advantage to get the hell outta there.

Yes, and that might be slightly risky given that we don't know what else they may have inside. I wouldn't put it past them to have items that could be harmful to us if they were destroyed.

Still, I would have thought that magic could be used with enough finesse to avoid damaging the items.

I help with the Royal Guard training from time to time! That involves much more magic than physical combat, of course...that is where the strength of monsters lies.

It depends on the type of magic. I use fire magic myself - I can wield it with a fair among of finesse, but it is still fire. And my trident is hardly a delicate tool either.

He certainly has his own share of talent, but you shouldn't sell yourself short, either.

I wouldn't say no to having more samples, however.

[There's no missing the footsteps in the hallway outside the room - after all, McGillis has been alert for any presences for the whole night, and even though it's now morning, it doesn't necessarily mean he's safe, either. Not here, anyways. It's why he'll glance up when Mikoto looks in, although he'll leave it alone when the other man decides to leave.
