Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

Coffee, I think! I know how make some simple latte art too.
heritrix: (so that's how it is)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-28 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, you've really gotten into it! [She wonders why, if he likes tea better.] Do you work in a coffee shop or something?
cadmiums: (xɪɪ)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-28 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I work in a cafe with my best friend Makoto. I kind of miss working, but I can serve nearly just as well here.
cadmiums: (ɪɪ)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-28 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I see. All my dreams have been pretty normal so far, so I'm not sure if that will be the case for me.
cadmiums: (ᴠɪɪɪ)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-28 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
You're welcome. What about my title?
heritrix: (glam)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-28 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
I've done odd jobs like that during the summer before. Just waiting tables, of course, but the morning rush always felt hectic. No matter how hot it gets, people still come in for their coffee.
nachetanya: (Civil War)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-28 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
Amiable? Doesn't that speak for itself, with this performance?
cadmiums: (ʟɪᴠ)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-28 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
Performance?
nachetanya: (GET IT CARROTS)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-28 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
[ She leans forward a little over the counter. ]

Right now, to serve others like this... it's true that you could be sweet in your heart and I don't have any doubt, but it's an act to go around like this and offer me tea or coffee, right? Because you want to be friendly and make people happy.
cadmiums: (ᴠɪ)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-28 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
It's my part time job back home. But I really do want everyone to be happy, everyone deserves friends.
nachetanya: (Ragnarok)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-28 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
Which is exactly what I'd have thought!
cadmiums: (xɪx)

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-28 08:04 am (UTC)(link)
Have? Do you think different now?
nachetanya: (One Night in Karazahn)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-28 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
[ she shakes her head, still smiling. ]

Not really. It's more that you'd met what I'd expect out of you, "Amiable."

[ A nod and!! ]

So how's the coffee?
cthulwho: (☁ life is a chore)

[personal profile] cthulwho 2017-06-28 03:46 pm (UTC)(link)
It is simply another thing that only time will reveal, I suppose...

[He frowns, considering that.]

Much like all of the mysteries about this place.
aspiringly: (don't you think it's a fine day?)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-29 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. [But he's not going to immediately assume they're all going to die the following week either, so he'd rather plan ahead, at least a little.]

I would appreciate that, actually. It would also be beneficial to share our findings in case anything happens to either of us, as well.

[Morbid, but a possibility in a place like this.]
aspiringly: (don't you think it's a fine day?)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-29 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Oh? I'm curious to what you're used to using, especially since flying seems to be a new means to you.

[Of course, he's assuming some sort of ship and maybe primitive cars and such and not like. Dimensional travel.]
protectandselfserve: i'd swim in a blizzard. (lovely weather for swimming!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-29 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you just have to time yourself getting from one end of the pool to the other end of the pool, and then you have to figure out how to get faster!
aspiringly: is this actually margerine?? (it's a little difficult to believe.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-29 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
Is that so? While I'm sure that there are a number of us that may be considered fragile [aka all those high school girls??], you may be hard-pressed to manage that with some of the others in our group. Even so, I doubt you would be able to reach, if you don't mind me saying so.

[Also, Wheatley is so short he's pretty sure that he would have a hard time managing hitting anyone on the head unless they're sitting or lying down.]
positivespin: (dancing slash)

[personal profile] positivespin 2017-06-29 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
An underground transportation system sounds super though! Are rails most common way to move around?
journalname: (🔱 sunset)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-29 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Oh...no, no. The entire kingdom is underground.
aspiringly: (don't you think it's a fine day?)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-29 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you.

I was planning on it, although I was finishing up my notes while the details were still fresh in my mind.

[Which is basically what the paper was for. They're mostly just observations about the room and tracking the inventory, though; nothing that Sakura wouldn't be able to check on her own time.]
positivespin: (somersault shoot)

[personal profile] positivespin 2017-06-29 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
Boats and railroads. Not very big ones, but reliable enough. Much room for improvement though!

[ Well, that is sort of a thing, but it's definitely not widespread enough for her to mention here... ]
positivespin: (roll strike)

[personal profile] positivespin 2017-06-29 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Ohh... But even then, would transport not be important? Just walking or swimming is enough?
journalname: (🔱 sunset)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-29 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
There are ferries along the river, of course, and a system of elevators and vents in the cliffs of Hotland. But the Underground is not big enough to require much, really.
aspiringly: (pirates. i think pirates would win.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-29 06:00 am (UTC)(link)

And yet, even tragedies and deaths can have meaning. Some foundations wouldn't have existed if it weren't for the sacrifices others have made.
