Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[That... That shocks her. Visibly stunned, and with all the anger drained from her face, Rin looks like she could cry.]

What do you mean it doesn't? [The anger is gone, but she's not letting it go easily; she tries to force something into her voice that isn't there, and instead all that comes out is a tremble.] It should!

That is the idea! They are meant to repel invaders! The monsters who live near them are well-acquainted with them, of course, and their solutions.

Why? We're all trapped here together. Being suspicious of others is fine, to an extent, but if we're gonna get out of here, we need to rely on each other to a certain extent.

Haha, it's true! Maybe sometime when I'm out in the world again, I'll be able to meet a cat person and ask them about it.

[ Oho, now she's serious.... The change in the way Sakura carries herself does not go unnoticed. George smiles to himself, as she has her eyes turned straight ahead to shoot.

... there is some relief when she doesn't hit bullseye, admittedly. But the red is certainly good. He's going to have to be careful now.

He takes a deep breath as he tries to find his ideal position, but he doesn't take as long to aim as the last time. He doesn't want to lose his focus by waffling over the perfect angle for too long.

He gets lucky with that, but not lucky enough. It's the red as well, though farther from the center than Sakura's last arrow. ]

Oh, that makes sense! We do that a lot too. It makes climbing towers fast really hard!

And I'm telling you that doesn't apply to me anymore!

[Rin's not sure how she can make this any simpler. He heard everything she had to say, didn't he? Then he should know she's made her decision, and that neither he or anyone else should rely on her from here on.

There's no way he wants to die, he's not like that. And he's smart, so it can't be he's not understanding. So why?]

Well to start [as the mun hasn't heard back on the other things left there] I baked cookies and left a glass of milk, with a placard that said it was for Santa Claus.

I was being cheeky, but the next morning the milk was gone and some of the cookies had been eaten. There was also a note left for me saying I was on the "nice list".
