Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

You got it backwards, Rose. She's not the one who brought us here; it was the Risen. Upper management put us in her hands, and it's clear what they expect.

I suppose that's fair.

[It's true that it's not like anybody's targeted Asgore personally. Yet. And if it doesn't stay that way all hell will probably break loose, let's be real.]

...I must seem terribly strange to you, questioning sentiments like that so often, given that they seem to come to you so easily.

[It doesn't seem self-deprecating at all, just kind of...not at the usual state of Self-Awareness Zero for once, either.]

[How would you hurt someone, if you were low on mana?

This is the first question that comes to Rin's mind; a discrepancy that doesn't make sense. Sakura described Rider's attack as separate from hers (and Rider's Noble Phantasm is a bounded field; the one I discovered at school? Sakura, did that plan come from your head, or Shinji's?). They were both attacking, but if Sakura was being drained of mana on top of her Servant drawing so much, she should have been as weak as a kitten.

It's an inconsistency that immediately raises a red flag. Sakura is lying, or at least not telling the whole truth. Rin thinks to accuse her of this, but holds back. This is all buildup. Why Sakura would want to kill herself over this has not been answered, so she waits.

Waits, and wonders what horrible thing Sakura may have done; if she offers because all of their classmates are already dead, and she stupidly thinks one life can repay that. Bring her angry pacing to a stop, like a tiger ready to go in for the kill, she waits—]

["I'm unconscious, or have already passed."

Every cell in her body is frozen.

"I don't think there's a way to wake me up, either."

In an instant, everything she wanted to say — every hurtful word — turns to ash on her tongue.]

Well, I can't do it here, unfortunately... [ Although, at the same time, part of her is glad she can't. ] But I guess once we get out of here, I could?

No, I don't think so. Part of it was probably so I couldn't be taken back to Hoshido.

Me too. And my Go Bag came out of the damn thing on the same day, so I have all my supplies.

[ Pizzazz looks over at her. ]

That makes a lot more sense than it just giving me a bunch of random clothes, yeah.

[ This gives Pizzazz pause. ]

Yeah, well... that's what I'm here for: kicking people's asses into gear. So sure, I guess that makes me senpai.

Foyer

[When Wheatley sees Wesker working with a frankenturret Wheatley hurries to his own room, to see if the one he had received had escaped or something. Nope, there it is, lying on its square back on Wheatley's bed. So that means there's more than one?

Better go back to the foyer]

You got one of those too! I had no idea that machine had several Aperture Science machines in it, it's kind of...comforting. Kind like watching an old cartoon. I had never seen one of these machines before, though.

[ He relaxes at that a little, though he's still fussing with his scarf as he speaks.]

I appreciate you looking out for me. [ And it sounds like he really does.] But I can be really stubborn, you know?

[ Nod. ]

The bonds you make are really important, as are the memories you share. No matter what happens, you'll always have those experiences together.

Oh, I see...That doesn't mean you should be treated differently, or horribly, especially by the one who created you.

[ He thinks about that for a second as he finishes making the beverages.]

I think I miss Makoto more than anything else.

[He casts his gaze downward, almost like he wants to re-submerge himself.]

I have been described as such. I am...not good with groups.

[He's going to wash the chlorine off, at least...! A minor consolation.]

I don't really care. I've done it many times...

Boy is he being difficult, though.]

I'm not sure what else I would wear.

[Alright, so they're just going to get dumped in front of her.]

Are you going to start practicing now that there's a pool? Maybe...you can race some of the others...

Oh. You knew each other previously.

[Like Corrin and Felicia...and Wesker and Krauser, presumably? He can't help but wonder how that worked out, when Steinbeck is nowhere to be found.]

She seems...firm on her opinions. [Some of them being more peculiar than others.] Have you been getting to know her better by being here?

Yes, I know... It is not ideal, but it is better than having no way to submerge myself.

[The showers can only do so much! But at least they exist, especially to wash the chlorine off.]

I did not breathe any in, no. But it is rather irritating on my eyes.

[Lovecraft may be bad at picking up certain cues, but Wheatley is being so obvious. So he just pushes on.]

[Oh, now this sounds interesting. He offers up a question after having another bite of toast.]

Are you able to describe it?

[He'll take the desk chair, because the bed would be a little weird. He's quiet for a long moment, like he's gathering his thoughts before he looks up at Asgore.]

"Greed is in love with the woman who murdered him."

That's what the note said.

The brand labeling on it seems to imply that it's one of yours.
