My Zero's Absolute 'Cause I Keep It So Cool

[ Nachetanya had originally intended to try to call together everyone to play that stupid game that her and Ryoji had made last week. Thing of it was, she has lost the mat for it, forgotten some of the rules they came up with, and generally just... nah. So in seeking out something else to have them do, she and Nozomi had stumbled upon an idea: why not just keep one the easiest to understand part of the game and make that the plan?

And so with some help, the princess has set something up for everyone. The set up is simple, push aside a lot of the chairs of the Internal Foyer and maybe put down some cardboard "mats" too in order to keep the floor sanitary in case there is a more physical dare (at one point they considered the pool but hey that seems hazardous) and then set up numerous shot glasses of hot sauce and numerous lemon wedges on a table in here. Also some real food too, courtesy of the butt girl.

And so with all that done midday, Nachetanya writes a bunch of notes, one for each room and one for the Fridge. And then her and Nozomi will be seeking out any stragglers to convince them or drag (possibly literally, in Nozomi's case) them to the foyer at the appointed time. ]

That's, in part, because she doesn't even know. My mistress doesn't know how she's supposed to feel. There's so much conflicting information, and so many unclear fucking exchyanges that she doesn't even know where to fucking start with you. It's not even as though we have clear labels for each other. It's not even like we're dating, we're just in this goddamn no-name zone! You make me feel secure one second and uncomfortable the next, and you move too fast, then you move too slow, and God only knows what you're thinking...

[ She makes it a point to stare her in the face, though. ]

...But I didn't have to spend the nyight with you, those nyights that I did. You may not know everything about my mistress, but you know quite a bit. And even though there are definitely times where I want to just shake you the hell down and ask you just what you think you're fucking saying...

[ Her free hand makes its way to stroke her cheek, before moving down to linger at her throat-- ]

...There are also times where I want to slam you down to that bed of yours and make sure you really do only have eyes for me.

[ Some part of her wonders if Tsubasa would actually appreciate the fact they're basically airing out their relationship problems in public right now, but under the circumstances that's probably better left unsaid. As it is... ]

I understand the uncertainty. I feel that myself, too... [ Her eyes cloud with it, and she continues, ] I'm excited around you - her? - and I'm flattered that I make her feel safe. The emotions I've felt are- it's probably still premature to call it love, but I am attracted to you.

[ She hasn't seemed to have reacted to the hand on her throat until now, but she squeezes the other's arm as best she can. ]

Do you want to date me?

[ Look, you gotta do what you gotta do-- ]

If you ask my mistress that when she wakes up, that'll be a pretty fair bit of stress taken off. At least you'll be able to define what you have, nya. She's not going to remember any of this, after all.

[ . . . She isn't?

Hmmm. ]

I... see. But you've been the one who spent nights with me?

Of course, that was my mistress, too. We've never interacted before today.

But I've given her a push, here and there.

You didn't appreciate my hyandiwork? It was the best way for me to get some stress out without making myself known just yet, nya. If her stress was bad enough that I was forced to come out, instead of just bearing the burden without doing anything about it like I always do, I needed to do something to take some off. And nothing says stress relief like breaking everything, nyehehe.

[ Her nails run along her neck, not deep enough to leave a mark... ]

I want to be here just as much as you all want me here. My goal is to be my mistress's stress relief. So being out like this isn't beneficial for me.

...But if you're asking me? Every day you don't ask me just makes me frustrated. Because right now, you're having it both ways, and it doesn't work like that, nya.

[ The whole roast threw her off. She's a little worried about what that will do for her reputation. But now, she senses that she might have the upper hand here. ]

Oh, why not? Right now, you're till in a body that I've love to kiss, and if I'm going to be dating someone, doesn't that mean I'm dating the good things and the bad?

If you don't do anything stupid or try to mess with her, you won't even know I'm here, nya. If you weren't so insistent on fucking around, I wouldn't have had to come out like this. When you're in a relationship, you can be held to a higher standard. You have to take some goddamn accountability.

But for all of your nonsense, for all of your stupid games, having you around actually helps my mistress a great deal. As awful as you are, you take a bit of a load off my back. It'd be so easy if I could just say I resented you and leave it at that, but, I don't, and that's what makes this whole thing so damn frustrating.

You and I, we can co-exist, if you shape the hell up.

[ Well, she confirmed earlier that this is still only Tsubasa's strength, so Nachetanya can easily tug her hand from the other's grip. She doesn't go to grab the wrist of the hand at her throat, but instead go to stroke the side of her face. She hums, and- ]

But I want to know more about you.

[ ...She's still not quite used to being able to make physical contact with things, without draining their life force on the spot. Her hand backs away from her throat, apparently satisfied, and she licks at her wrist... ]

If she wanted you to know more about me, I wouldn't be here right now.

She doesn't know you exist though, right? Can that even be true?

She doesn't, you're right. Not consciously, anyway. But like I said, we're assimilated. On a subconscious level, she's allowing me to do what I do for her, because I keep her from being hurt.

So... why is it a problem if you're coming out like this, might I ask?

Well, for one thing, it means her stress has gotten to the point where I can't handle it without having to deal with the cause of it myself. Breaking things, telling people off, making you get off your ass and take me seriously, that's just damage control, but if I don't cut to the heart of the problem, I'm gonna keep coming out. That's not beneficial for anyone, and nyaturally, me coming out too often might make the stress worse, nya.

[ So it's just a matter of stress... But no, that makes sense. She narrows her eyes and, ]

If you're "assimilated," then I would still like to be clear about what you would like to do with me. Would you like to date?

... You know what though, her hand is already here, she's going to take advantage of that and despite this being in public (no, actually, it's especially because it is in public, so as to prove something ) she's going to lean in and kiss her.

[ If it were Tsubasa (or, at least, Tsubasa as she was not an hour ago), the idea of being kissed in public would be absolutely mortifying. But right now, her response to the kiss isn't a quiet acceptance; she actively returns it.

Only for a few seconds, though, before she shoves her away. Considering how furious she looked all but a few seconds ago, it may be a surprise to see that she's actually laughing, now, from her belly. ]

Nyahahahaha! You're still terrible, but at least you have a good sense of timing! You're good for a couple of things, but the second you say some stupid shit, you're never gonna hear the end of it from me! Now that you know about me, I won't take any excuses, got it?!

[ this is... strange? Strange. That said, she nods as she's shoved back and gives a sort of mock solute ]
