Did you love this world, and did this world not love you?
[Saying that Wesker is angry is vastly overstating his emotional reaction to anything that just happened; he quite simply doesn't feel anything, just cold and driven by method as opposed to emotion, and when notes are shoved under the doors this evening...well, it's really obvious who wrote them even if they're not signed, let's put it that way.]
This has gone on entirely too long for us to remain idle. The only way to defeat power is with more power; it's the one universal constant in this world. The only power we have right now is in our unity, and we need to utilize that to its fullest.
Grieve however you see fit, as mourning in this situation is warranted. But when you're all done crying we need to gather and we need to share information. Whatever you have that might assist us in this situation can and likely will be vital over the next several weeks.
This meeting isn't mandatory, nor is it something that many of you will necessarily want to do, but it's in our best interests to persevere despite our losses. Even if you have nothing to contribute – or if you don't feel like contributing, which is your prerogative – it's for the best to not be alone right now.
Meet in the dining hall. Food will be provided, as per usual.
[...He tried. He tried really hard, and that's the sad thing.
That said, though, there will in fact be food! And also tea. Both are courtesy of Asgore, seeing as Wesker can't manage either to save his life. But they're there, and Wesker will...likewise be there in the dining hall and just seeing who shows up. Whether anything productive comes out of this has yet to be seen; somehow he doubts anything will. But again, there was an attempt made in the first place, and that's got to count for something.]

[He smiles, obviously joking. But it would be something he could teach her if need be.]

Alright.
[She needs some small reason to smile today, so... she'll take it.]
I'll do my best -- ah, what room do you think we'll get?
Pizzazz-san is hoping for a TV room if we have to be here.

[A dojo is good, but gyms that are equipped are even better.]
no subject
[Listen. Sakura just doesn't get you people and your exercise]
no subject
[He needs his exercise or else he gets restless and violent. They don't want that.]
no subject
[Mmm thinking to herself]
... Though maybe you could string up some of the pads, tie them together, and make one of those...
[What is it called? She's blanking and thus tries to demonstrate by punching the air. It is the saddest display of physical attack, Sakura put your hands down.]
Boxers use them!
no subject
[He does chuckle at her attempt to punch the air, though.]
no subject
[She could've done without the chuckle, and scoffs faintly. Listen, she tried]
I suppose until we get one, you can still use your mattress...

no subject
[She's not sure how he'd feel about robbing the room of the deceased for their mattress, so it's spoken more tentatively]
no subject
[Not that they'd see, but... just in case, he doesn't want karma to bite him in the ass.]
no subject
Oh? Do you believe in an afterlife, Shinya-san?
no subject
[He's not religious. He just knows that when you die, it's over.]
no subject
[She's just curious, really. It's not as if she has a better answer, in the end.]
no subject
[Not that he's doing much living right now, but at least he doesn't want to die...]

Some people find solace in the thought of a new beginning. Or just something better.
[Glancing down at her lukewarm tea] So I just wondered if it was the same for you.
no subject
[That simple. He doesn't want a new beginning...]
no subject
[She's jealous, really. Sakura has no thoughts on religion herself, but she wishes she could have that unwavering conviction]
