[Saying that Wesker is angry is vastly overstating his emotional reaction to anything that just happened; he quite simply doesn't feel anything, just cold and driven by method as opposed to emotion, and when notes are shoved under the doors this evening...well, it's really obvious who wrote them even if they're not signed, let's put it that way.]

This has gone on entirely too long for us to remain idle. The only way to defeat power is with more power; it's the one universal constant in this world. The only power we have right now is in our unity, and we need to utilize that to its fullest.

Grieve however you see fit, as mourning in this situation is warranted. But when you're all done crying we need to gather and we need to share information. Whatever you have that might assist us in this situation can and likely will be vital over the next several weeks.

This meeting isn't mandatory, nor is it something that many of you will necessarily want to do, but it's in our best interests to persevere despite our losses. Even if you have nothing to contribute – or if you don't feel like contributing, which is your prerogative – it's for the best to not be alone right now.

But they're there, and Wesker will...likewise be there in the dining hall and just seeing who shows up. Whether anything productive comes out of this has yet to be seen; somehow he doubts anything will. But again, there was an attempt made in the first place, and that's got to count for something.]

That would be a good idea, yeah. [She looks a little annoyed with herself now.] We've only spoken once, and I did learn something useful from them, but the way it came about still pisses me off. That and I didn't press for more when I should have.

It was back after the first motive. They asked for feedback on their show.

...Yeah, that sounds like them. They're really into their stupid theatrics. Both as performers and members of the audience.

Yep. Then I made a joke and they tried to blow my ear out, so that was fun.

You got that strong of a reaction from them? What was the joke? Even when I intentionally tried to anger them, they didn't react.

Uh... they said something about loose lips, and I said something about sinking ships, and then there was a really loud screech?

Sinking ships... That's a strange thing to bother them.

[Unless—she gasps a little, like a thought has occurred to her.]

This may have no connection, but...

[She frowns.] The Transmitter doesn't like water.

Yeah. You think maybe the Risen share that?

Maybe not her phobia. They were the ones who insisted on us getting the pool, not her.

But they have something in common, and that's why they work together. A shared accident might have something to do with it.

Maybe. So something involving an actual boat.

That's the theory, for now.

[Like she said, it might turn up nothing.]

Well... if the pattern holds, we'll get another chance to talk to the Risen in a few days.

[Rin sighs.] ...I'm glad Kogami mentioned that thing about the electricity at the meeting, actually. I was thinking about trying to interfere with that, come Tuesday.

Really? How exactly?

I was going to unplug the computers, so they couldn't give us an incentive.

[It seemed like a clean solution, and probably smaller scale than what Pizzazz was thinking.]

... wait, those computers just have plugs? Like... regular, normal wall outlets?

They don't?

[SOMEONE DIDN'T ACTUALLY BOTHER TO LOOK. The only time she goes in the media room is for the incentives in the first place, okok.]

I thought they were the same as refrigerators and had to be plugged in.
