[It's been a little while since Asgore did anything relating to the afterparties, and that's something he intends to correct today. Several hours after...everything that that execution was...notes in a neat script go out:]

[Even King Fluffybuns knows that people need booze after a day like today.

He indeed hasn't seemed to touch the alcohol at all, but god knows there's plenty available. Have at it, people who know more about mixing drinks than him. If you don't want to make your own, there's always the tea and coffee set out, as well as some simple food: soup, sandwiches, and two pies. One seems to be berry, and one...well, it looks a little like a pumpkin pie, but it's not quite the same color, and it's garnished with a couple of cinnamon sticks.

Oh, definitely! There's plenty of meats and the usual staples to pull it off. [She rubs at her chin.] Well, aside from a few things. It's a tragedy we don't have crab, to be honest; I can't go all out without that.

[ossifragant]

Crab?

[He knows what crabs are, of course, but he can't say he's ever had it before.]

Sounds fancy-- it's a shame there isn't any in the kitchen. I'd ask Misty about it, but I'm sure it's not something easily obtained on a mountaintop.

[Rin blinks, sitting upright.]

No, I mean-- well I haven't asked her if we're on a mountaintop, but I asked her if she could obtain something for me early on and she said she wasn't sure it was possible.

Did you get the frivolous line too?

[ossifragant]

No-- not at all, actually.

I asked her for books. She told me she wasn't sure if she'd be able to obtain any.

[He rubs at the back of his neck.]

I don't get it, because not even a week later, the section with the library opened up.

You know, I had two similar conversations like that. Weeks ago, when the pool was introduced, I discovered that both she and the Risen can choose the rooms that appear. This building isn't naturally built this way; they have many rooms from the sound of it.

[Which is a topic in and of itself, but Rin keeps herself on track.] When I learned that, I joked I would like to see a bar, but she wasn't sure she could pull that off.

[And yet here they are.]

We also talked about video games. Rather, she teased me that I'd probably like "old" ones, but she didn't want to make promises she couldn't keep. And yet just a few weeks later, we have the arcade too.

[His head tips thoughtfully.]

You know, if it was just once, I would chalk it up to coincidence, but the fact that it's happened three times does seem to indicate she's putting some thought into the layout. Though that raises more questions than answers, doesn't it? How the hell did they get ahold of such a weird building?

And how can they arrange them all at will? Even with magic, that's complex.

I don't think it's even possible with alchemy-- alchemy is a form of chemistry, not...

[How the hell does that even work?]

Why would they cater rooms to us while also trying to get us to kill each other It seems like a bizarre reward system.

Maybe that has more to do with the Transmitter than the Risen.
