Week 3.

WEEK 3

The end of the second week sees two more people dead, and two more rooms sitting empty in the dormitories. Nephenee and Rideaux Zek Rugievit are both gone, but with the start of the third week, it looks as though the game will continue on without them.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Meanwhile, it looks like another set of doors have opened up at the end of that southern hallway, leading to another long corridor stretching out to the east. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've earned it, after all.

COMPETITORS REMAINING: 26

[ BE THE BETTER GALE BOETTICHER ]

Then just read your favorite out of whatever's in there! This totally isn't hard, Methodical, don't be a big dumb-dumb!

I totally do, I just like the titles more. I don't even call the Adjudicator by his real name. [ ...unless she really wants something.

And then there's—special people, who get a name. But she'll, uh. Hmmm. ]
...If it bothers you, I guess I can use your name, but like, Methodical's not even that bad of a title? Not like Inny... Inigo's. Which is why he totally told me to call him Inigo instead.

I'd like to be referred to by more than a title, yes. Especially one that he's given me.

...Nobody in the history of the universe has ever wanted to be called "Crabman".

[ugh. FINE. you know what, walt's going to read that poem. and...he finds himself channeling gale boetticher as he does it. and it makes him look progressively, noticeably more queasy throughout, with every passing word. till by the end of the thing, he's sick to his stomach.

he can't stop thinking about how gale must've looked, lying there with a bullet through his head.]

When I heard the learn’d astronomer,
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,
When I was shown the charts and diagrams, to add, divide,
and measure them,
When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured with
much applause in the lecture-room,
How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick,
Till rising and gliding out I wander’d off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look’d up in perfect silence at the stars.

[ ...humas are so weird, finding some beauty in words put together like that. aligula stares at him—or well, seems to; it's hard to tell that she's doing that, seeing as she has no discernible eyes.

at least, until the one in the middle of her mask opens up. ]

You're looking a little sick there, Walty. Got reminded of something you don't like? [ heheh— ] Okay! As totally promised, your information.

[ the purple eye looks... incredibly happy, as aligula claps her hands once and leans forward. ]

There's definitely a way to win without killing someone~ Entire groups have done it before! Not killing anyone at all is totally a bust for ours now, but it's still totally a possibility that you can lead the rest of us to victory without having to dirty your hands any, isn't it?

[ ...look at that, isn't that great news. ]

Of course, you could always figure out how to do it by yourself and then leave the rest of us here... [ she leans back in her chair, picking pride and prejudice back up from her lap. ] Whatever! The possibilities are totally, undeniably endless! You've just gotta figure out how to do it first.

[ ... ]

I don't actually have any clues for that though!
