[ After a hell of a trial, Katniss needs to focus her energy into something. So, the afterparty it is. Since she's not good at this kind of stuff, she's had some help. She'll pass out invitations to anyone she passes by, or she'll slip them under the door. ]



[ There is some food set up, but it's very much in sealed containers. Cookies, specifically, along with anything else she could scrounge up. There are very tightly sealed bottles of drinks, too. After that whole thing, she figures it'd be best to tread with caution. She won't blame anyone who brings their own food, of course.

There are fixings for smoothies, just in case someone's feeling it. Katniss has set up a couple of blenders around the game room. There's also some surf 'n' turf food, to honor Mack, too.

There are some decorations--courtesy of the guys, of course, because how the heck do you decorate for anything. ]

And I for one think shielding people is a little cooler than violence anyway.

[She places her hands on her hips slightly playfully.] All these years after high school and I'm finally cool. I just had to get stabbed to do it.

If I'd known that's what it'd take, I'd have done it years ago.

[She got a million jokes but. Seriously she's not doing that again oh god.]

[Cut to two weeks later: They've both been stabbed and we look like assholes.]

How bad was the cut, has anyone said?

Inch or two deep, kind of long? So it could've been much worse probably.

And it was a scalpel, so it shouldn't be too jagged or anything. So that's... yeah, better than it could have been.

[Walt could have taken out greenmom and thus truly become The Worst. Ever.]

And Katniss wasn't hurt so. It all worked out.

I don't know if I'd say it one hundred percent worked out, but... no one else is dead, at least.
