you'll be alright, no one can hurt you now
[ After a hell of a trial, Katniss needs to focus her energy into something. So, the afterparty it is. Since she's not good at this kind of stuff, she's had some help. She'll pass out invitations to anyone she passes by, or she'll slip them under the door. ]

[ There is some food set up, but it's very much in sealed containers. Cookies, specifically, along with anything else she could scrounge up. There are very tightly sealed bottles of drinks, too. After that whole thing, she figures it'd be best to tread with caution. She won't blame anyone who brings their own food, of course.
There are fixings for smoothies, just in case someone's feeling it. Katniss has set up a couple of blenders around the game room. There's also some surf 'n' turf food, to honor Mack, too.
There are some decorations--courtesy of the guys, of course, because how the heck do you decorate for anything. ]

Wouldn't say it's naive. I mean, we've been having the meetings every week.
And in those meetings it looks like because people are working together that maybe... just maybe nothing's going to happen -- that no one's gonna take up the motive or ...
[ He remembers AZ's actions too and it stings just thinking about it, but he'd rather not dwell, so he just trails off there. ]
...If I'm being honest, I was hoping a little too.
no subject
...But as long as there's even one person who will act, that hope's not going to mean much.
[And with the incentives every week... well, it's no wonder that someone's always willing to murder.]
no subject
Maybe not. It looks like it might even get worse -- someone killing two people, maybe even other people just being unable to take it anymore, and giving themselves up might happen again.
[ It's grim, and his lips curl into a frown. It's a little frustrating, but he thinks maybe having a little bit of hope keeps them moving on. Even if it's gonna suck being likely disappointed again. ]
We'll just need to work harder to try to make sure we can end this whole thing sooner. I mean... there were other groups before us. They found a way out without killing and everything.
no subject
Yeah. I don't understand how they managed that. The rules say that we'll be provided for and we'll stay here, but there isn't a time frame or anything, right? So how did those other groups get out? That's assuming we can believe everything Juri's saying, though...
[This is pretty damn complicated.]

Guess there's always gonna be some catch.
[ Yuri will attempt to contemplate this thoroughly. Juri could just be a pathological liar and leading everyone along the nose just so he can put on his evil mask and laugh evilly in his office all by himself when the day's over. Goodness, who is the strategist of this group entire here? ]
...Maybe if we could find proof how the others got out or something it'd be pretty convenient too. On top of that be able to actually use it to free us and everything, but that sounds like it'll be probably hard as hell.
no subject
...I'm also really curious how they managed to keep anyone from killing. That sounds pretty impossible.
[Maybe they didn't get motives...??]
no subject
Maybe everyone was just convinced somehow they'd be able to escape without killing each other? That sounds stupid but I guess food for thought while people snoop through stuff around here and something to bring up for the next meeting.
[ Because sometimes people forget to bring up stuff they've learned/found unless it's mentioned... ]

[ He'll stretch a bit with a sigh. ]
That aside, you've never been imprisoned in a place like this before, right?
no subject
[But as for that question...]
Nope, never. Has anyone... Oh. Kyouko was in a game like this, but I didn't ask her too much about it.
[Thaaaaat's awkward.]
no subject
Oh. Well, I can see why you wouldn't.
[ But he just kinda asked someone right now... ]
Going through this stuff just once is enough already. Dunno how I'd feel if I had to go through it all again twice.
no subject
Yeah. She's holding it together really well, but I'm sure she's scared. Who the hell wouldn't be?
[What is Kyouko's luck...]
no subject
... Good point. I'm pretty sure the only one who wouldn't be scared of this whole thing might be Terumi.
[ He COULD be wrong, but he's pretty sure the guy's fearless. Probably.
He'd have mentioned Juri too but he thinks the guy got pretty nervous when he was poisoned those couple of times. ]
no subject
[he's been stuck in some kind of cycle anyway, he'd probably enjoy endless murdergames right??
He doesn't sound annoyed with it, just sort of exasperated in an "oh, Terumi" sort of way.]
no subject
[ This is definitely echoing the "oh, Terumi" thing. He's sure Terumi also likes this kind of environment (maybe) so. ]
