[ After a hell of a trial, Katniss needs to focus her energy into something. So, the afterparty it is. Since she's not good at this kind of stuff, she's had some help. She'll pass out invitations to anyone she passes by, or she'll slip them under the door. ]



[ There is some food set up, but it's very much in sealed containers. Cookies, specifically, along with anything else she could scrounge up. There are very tightly sealed bottles of drinks, too. After that whole thing, she figures it'd be best to tread with caution. She won't blame anyone who brings their own food, of course.

There are fixings for smoothies, just in case someone's feeling it. Katniss has set up a couple of blenders around the game room. There's also some surf 'n' turf food, to honor Mack, too.

There are some decorations--courtesy of the guys, of course, because how the heck do you decorate for anything. ]

Rarely anything troubles me at this age in the first place, but you recall that troubling group I told you about? The one who's been dabbling in forbidden things.

If demons exist, then so must angels. It's a balance thing.

[Probably.]

But it isn't quite as... religious as one may think, in this case. Some people are born with that potential in them, but most are experimented on from birth -- we call the people able to embody angels Seraphs of the End.

[A pause.]

The Seraph of the End is exactly as it sounds, mind. It a holy being which brings the end. That group has been biding their time in order to use it against those in their way, which would include myself, ruthlessly experimenting on orphans and even their own people. It's disturbing.

[glaciates]

Why would anyone want to bring about the end? And experimenting on their own people... That's fucked up.

I've been keeping an eye on the situation, and... I think they may have, though I suppose we'll see with future dreams. As for the reasoning -- well, who can say? They're not the most morally-conscious people I've ever seen.

I'm unable to do anything about it here, and I don't know how many more memories I have to go until I'm fully updated on the situation. Things may seem bleak right now... but there's always a chance we'll be fine despite the odds. I'd like to hold onto that hope.

Yeah, I guess that's a pretty good way to look at it. It's not like we've found a way to get out of here, so we are stuck. Might as well wait and see before worrying too much about it.
