[ What do y'all know! It's a party invitation that Yuri bothered to slip under everyone's doors or hand over to any passerbys. ]




[ He saw people liked glitter?? He probably threw some glitter over the sign with Angel's help, tbh and might have put in too much by accident. It's whatever.

There are a few decorations hanging around here. Before the whole murder went down he made some small crafted animals, so they're around on tables and everything (don't judge him).

He probably brought some smoothies and Cilan seems to have helped with cooking -- so Yuri's got a few of the usual snacks with sandwhiches or whatnot while the other brought some delicious onigiri!

Angel probably helped along with setting up some other decorations too -- it's half the reason things don't look like a mess?? Do not let Yuri set up things himself, okay. ]

[ Oh, an afterparty. Katniss can't wait! ... Except she doesn't go immediately. Rather, she holes up in her room. The door's opened a crack, and she's got a sketchbook from the art studio and several writing utensils. She's spread the stuff out, and it's honestly a pretty thick book, with sturdy pages.

It looks like Katniss is working on a project. There are notes on people anyone here wouldn't know, and she's copying them down in the book with a surprisingly steady hand. She's trying to draw, too, but that's not very successful... She's not terrible, it's easy enough to tell what the person looks like, but they're nothing to write home about.

... Someone should probably get her something to eat or drink, honestly. And if anyone wants to drag her to the afterparty, she won't mind. She'll just be taking that book with her. ]

[ Aligula said they'd talk after they got out of the trial, and she's a woman who makes good on her word, so it really shouldn't come as a surprise that she's swinging by with a deck of cards.

...Not even knocking or doing anything other than plopping down somewhere near Katniss and waving her cards. Maybe she wants to play— ]

[ ... You know what, she's not even surprised. Katniss's pencil halts over a page titled FINNICK ODAIR, and she's quiet for a moment. ]

[ she actually gave someone a Speech about why she loves love this week, it was wonderful. they were actually pretty intrigued. ]

I don't know. I'm pretty sure I could find some way to do it. But Peeta's the type of guy to clean up my dumb messes.

[She comes in and sets the plate down next to her.]

[That's their water cooler talk in this place. And that's almost the most horrifying part.]

[ She sets her pencil down--Fern might notice the page she's turned to is titled PRIMROSE EVERDEEN--and rolls her shoulders back a bit. ]

I'm sick of them.

[A child has died every single week and that's all she can think about.]

Maybe we're getting close to the end.

[ She's working on a page titled PEETA MELLARK. Peeta's not dead, she hopes, but it doesn't feel right to not include the boy with the bread. ]

Keeping yourself busy?

Yeah. I'm making a book of people who're important to me.

But I'm thinking maybe I could set it out for everyone to put stuff into. It's a big enough book.

So everyone can write down stuff about the people important to them or I guess good memories?

[ She nods. ]

It's a way to remember them, when things get murky. I guess I kind of got the idea from my dad's plant book back home. I'd draw pictures, but I'm not good at that stuff.

I'd offer too but I don't think I know what your friends or family back home look like.

[ It'd be kinda impossible, right?

That and he too is shitty at drawing. ]

Anyway... I think it'll be a help in making people distress. When you're nostalgic and all that good stuff, you'll focus on the positives instead of the negatives.
