"throws tax collectors into rivers" Yuri Lowell ([personal profile] hesperos) wrote in [community profile] trustfelled2016-08-07 03:23 pm

We're all in this together now, so let's not give in!

[ What do y'all know! It's a party invitation that Yuri bothered to slip under everyone's doors or hand over to any passerbys. ]

[ He saw people liked glitter?? He probably threw some glitter over the sign with Angel's help, tbh and might have put in too much by accident. It's whatever.

There are a few decorations hanging around here. Before the whole murder went down he made some small crafted animals, so they're around on tables and everything (don't judge him).

He probably brought some smoothies and Cilan seems to have helped with cooking -- so Yuri's got a few of the usual snacks with sandwhiches or whatnot while the other brought some delicious onigiri!

Angel probably helped along with setting up some other decorations too -- it's half the reason things don't look like a mess?? Do not let Yuri set up things himself, okay. ]

Really? [...] Is the flavor different depending on the person whom the blood originates from?

[we've already decided to go down this rabbit hole so we might as well keep going]

Indeed. Humans age rather literally like fine wine to us, and where they're from environment-wise adds a different spice to it as well~.

[you did this to you, cilan]
cilantro: (this is just a little bit awkward)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-07 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[Cilan will regret this later, but for now, the science of vampirism is actually a legitimate thing now and not just the ravings of people who take fictional stories too seriously??]

I see... I don't suppose you have a particular preference in regards to flavor, do you?
seventhprogenitor: (73)

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-07 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I prefer sweetness, but I'll take what I can get.

[since the source of his sweet blood is

not something anyone here would like]
cilantro: (my burgundy senses are tingling...)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-07 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Sweet, huh? That's interesting... but at the same time, it doesn't seem that strange to hear: after all, who doesn't like the taste of confectionery treats and other sweet foods, right?

[... Even if in your case it's... um, blood.]
seventhprogenitor: (08)

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-07 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[... Yes. Thanks, Cilan.]

Indeed~. The blood I'm given here is average all around, though I do wonder where he obtains it from... Perhaps I'll ask sometime, though it doesn't particularly matter.

[He's just curious. Probably won't get an answer either, but hey.]
cilantro: (no one understands us except pansage)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly, I'm not sure I would want to know where he's been getting it from.

[Or who it came from, to be more precise.]

... If it hadn't come up in the trial, would you have ever considered telling any of us here?
seventhprogenitor: (51)

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-08 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't have, unless for some reason he stopped providing it for me I suppose.
cilantro: (tea time is always a good time)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
I see. [...] But now I suppose, if he ever does stop providing for your needs for whatever reason, you have friends here who would want to do their best to try to help you now.

[So that's the bright side of having revealed your secret now, isn't it?]

[Maaan you humans and your helpful natures are so

delectable.]

I do~. And I can help out more with our bodies, too, since I don't have to shy away from the more bloody scenes. I know Aligula's been getting tired of head wounds, so I might give her a break from those if another comes around.

[Let her have the more... interesting one.]
cilantro: (this is quite an exhausting taste)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Mm... I wish I could help out more in that area in regards to investigations, but I must admit, I find the taste of blood and the dead to be unpleasant. Not quite faint-worthy, but enough to make me feel a little ill.

[And the last thing we need is someone getting sick at a crime scene, you know?]

Though, even more so I would prefer if we didn't have any more bodies here in the future.

[Like really, can't we all just get along and not kill each other?]

Wouldn't that be nice? But the stakes are too high for people, and those bonuses that our host rolls out certainly don't help.

[As long as those are around, we won't get a week of peace...]

You do enough as is, though. I think it'd be nice for everyone to have a breakfast during our trials, like what Mozu did for us, so perhaps you could pick up the slack we have now.
cilantro: (but do we have enough tape for that...)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 06:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I can certainly do that.

[Still, he can't help but think about these "stakes and bonuses", so...]

Am I the only one who thinks that these "bonuses" might not actually taste like how they appear to be, though? To me they seem more like... a test to see who among us would actually kill for it rather than something that can be reasonably granted.

[Or maybe it's just that Cilan is someone who has lived a rather nice life and can't drum up the feeling of something worth killing for, unlike some of our other competitors here...]
seventhprogenitor: (51)

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-08 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
We won't ever know the validity of his "bonuses" until one of us wins, but that would require the rest of us to perish. Still, he did prove he can work miracles today.

[Bringing Yang back to life... even if he kind of did the thing he did to her afterwards.]

Who's to say he, or whoever he may be working for, can't make good on his words? I wouldn't like to find out, personally.
cilantro: (did we leave the stove on at home...)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Hrm... I suppose you might be right about that, especially after that display earlier.

[That sure was a thing we got to watch, wasn't it.]

Still, I think it would be worth trying to see what would happen if none of us acted on these incentives of his. Maybe our host will have an interesting reaction to it if everyone's still here by the end of the week?
seventhprogenitor: (74)

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-08 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, after what happened, I'd surely like a break. Perhaps we could convince him to watch us perform a play or something instead.

[That'd be fun.]
cilantro: (tea time is always a good time)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, that would be so much fun! It's been far too long since I've last had the opportunity to dress up and act in anything...

[Instead, he's had to devote all of his time to making sure nobody starves and that he isn't dead by Friday, do you have any idea how boring that gets after a while??]
seventhprogenitor: (78)

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-08 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[So boring!!]

Your profile did mention you liked acting, didn't it... Have you had any favorite roles~?
cilantro: (this reminds me of a puzzle)

[personal profile] cilantro 2016-08-08 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... the one I can remember most clearly involved participating in a contest where I had to pretend to be one of my colleagues in the Gym Leading business...

[... And the less said about that the better, because that was embarrassing, but!!]

I believe I've also taken part in a movie recently, where I played the role of the villain, a pirate who wished to claim the great treasure of a faraway kingdom, going so far as to even kidnap their princess in order to sate his greed.

[personal profile] seventhprogenitor 2016-08-08 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow~. You're quite experienced, aren't you~. Then if we do put on a play, you'll be the lead! We can even have the Pokémon help out with the production~!

[How fun that'd be..!]
