"throws tax collectors into rivers" Yuri Lowell ([personal profile] hesperos) wrote in [community profile] trustfelled2016-08-07 03:23 pm

We're all in this together now, so let's not give in!

[ What do y'all know! It's a party invitation that Yuri bothered to slip under everyone's doors or hand over to any passerbys. ]

[ He saw people liked glitter?? He probably threw some glitter over the sign with Angel's help, tbh and might have put in too much by accident. It's whatever.

There are a few decorations hanging around here. Before the whole murder went down he made some small crafted animals, so they're around on tables and everything (don't judge him).

He probably brought some smoothies and Cilan seems to have helped with cooking -- so Yuri's got a few of the usual snacks with sandwhiches or whatnot while the other brought some delicious onigiri!

Angel probably helped along with setting up some other decorations too -- it's half the reason things don't look like a mess?? Do not let Yuri set up things himself, okay. ]

They don't do anything at all.

[And from the way he says it, flatly, it's pretty damn boring.]

I can't recall the last time any of them did something for fun, Yuri, or tried to shake things up a bit. I'm aware some of the other Progenitors -- nobles like myself -- are fond of humans as well, but there's simply many more who view people watching as a waste of time when they could be feeding off of them instead, plainly speaking. I guarantee that if any of them had come here instead of me, there would have been more than one dead person that first week.

[See? Everyone's so lucky to have him. They should appreciate this.]

Indeed~. I almost feel like I'm representing them here, and I know they wouldn't be pleased~.

[too bad for those losers!! he was ~chosen~.]

Too bad for them. If they wanted to play so badly, they should have been a little more interesting. That's certainly why we were chosen, don't you think?

Well, is there anything particularly notable about you, Yuri? I'm an oddity among my kind, so that may have been my reason.

[Ferid chuckles lightly.]

Oh, I'm sure~. Do you get in trouble with the law, or maybe it's your love life that's a mess? Aligula would surely love to hear about the latter.

Oooh, vigilant justice! How romantic!

[But not in a love-way, from the sounds of it. Just... you know, idealistic.]

I'm certainly thankful to hear that there's someone sticking up for the people, if no one else will. It's always a shame to hear of such... corrupt systems. I'd do away with it myself if I could help any.

[...]

In a way~. I'd say so, yes. I recently dethroned a traitor with a friend of mine! It's going to be rather tough work to pick up her slack and rework everything, but I think we'll be fine.

[Amazing what having only half the story does to a man.]

She helped humanity create and control the very weapons that now threaten to reduce our numbers to a tidy zero. Those weapons themselves were already taboo, and to continue to aid them despite knowing that, whatever her reasons? Well, I simply couldn't stand for it.
