[ Okay guys, stop whatever you were doing (probably) because Yuri's likely running around at some point handing off posters, swinging them around obnoxiously even if you're not paying attention or sliding them under everyone's doors if you're still conversing with your teddy bears because it's GO TIME. ]




[ Here they are in the dining room, there's probably some Earl Grey tea since Inigo was making some for Chitoge, and Yuri decided to even bring in the usual snacks (cookies or what have you).

[ Catch Chitoge before the meeting starts, and she looks positively thrilled today. The girl is quite literally glad to be alive right now; she can't keep the smile off her face, and she'll give the biggest hellos and grin from ear to ear. It's the first time in a long time she's genuinely felt relieved like this, and goodness gracious, if she's gonna be alive, she's gonna live.

But once everyone gets here and they're ready to rumble? She means business. Takes a sip from her Earl Grey, clears her throat, and she's a girl on a mission. ]

So, here's the deal. There's a lot for you guys to take in here, so, I guess I'll take it from the top, and if you guys have questions, because I know you're gonna, bring them up with me after I give the rundown, okay? ...So, when someone dies here, they'll usually wake up in...it's almost like a parallel version of this facility. Exact same layout, everything about it is the same, that we've discovered, anyway, except for a hallway in that version of Juri's office. ...Actually, two hallways. One of them apparently leads to this sort of observatory area, sort of like an elevator shaft. No ceiling, but no visible floor on the way down. The other one was the one I took to get here today. Just a straight hallway that leads to a doorway, and past that doorway is your version of the courtroom. So that's...how I got here. I literally just walked in that hallway until I took the door to get here.

You wake up in the parallel version of the place where you died. But the place is pretty much barren, and we have no way of seeing you guys or hearing you guys at all. Not even with a seance, not even when you guys are all together, nothing. We have no communication with any of you whatsoever, so, whoever it was that you guys had the seance with? Despite what it may have told you, it wasn't me.

[ Sorry, Angel. ]

But we do have a guest. There's a girl named Alena there. She's a bit shy, but, she was apparently part of a different sort of "game," and wound up dying, too. She has no idea who Juri is, and she was in that game with three other people. ...The other notable thing about that place is that it feels like we're always being watched. We managed to have a seance of our own, with someone who claims to be this watcher? And though they also claim that they aren't the person you guys had the seance with, they said they can see you guys over here, so the whole thing feels a bit weird. Their responses were cryptic, but they told us that we were basically in some kind of limbo, which makes sense...oh, and they also left gifts for Sayaka, Mallick, Nephenee, and Rideaux. Objects from home that were important to them...

My circumstances were a bit peculiar, since I arrived a bit...unconventionally. Instead of waking up in that limbo-version of the foyer, I woke up in my room, and I felt like...someone carried me there. I don't know who it was, but, it definitely wasn't Juri, or Alena, or anyone else I recognize. They brought me to my room and they were with me in there until I woke up, I'm certain of that much, but other than that...well, I don't know anything else. That's pretty much everything I know, though.

[ He's so confused. Stuff like this is so complex... why.

... I guess they didn't tell you how they were able to grab the gifts, huh?

I assume the same way stuff of ours got into that vending machine...but no, they didn't say.

That probably sounds about right.

...And you were just walking around or whatever before you just suddenly came out earlier? You didn't see anything weird before you came back to alive in some way, right?

[ Inigo brought a sketchpad and hastily scribbles down notes as he listens to Chitoge. It's honestly a little confusing, taking it in all at once. ]

Is Alena cute?

[ Inigo. ]

...Disregard that, it's probably not important. How are the others doing? Is Mozu okay?

Actually, I think she's one of the cuter girls out of us, but, I don't know if you guys want to hear my hot-or-not. It's embarrassing, and not really important...

Everyone is fine, though. Tensions were a bit high when Brady and Mack showed up. There were a few fights, but I think everyone is starting to simmer down a bit. In my opinion, we won't get anywhere if we're divided.

As for Mozu, she's fine, too. ...Everyone's taking good care of her.

[Jean's pacing around, rather than taking a seat. She spends a moment with her hand over her mouth, thoughtfully...]

It's all parallel? Even the corridors beyond the foyer?

Whenever new people arrive, new corridors open up with them, I've noticed. I'm not quite sure how that works...

I found a makeup compact and a bowling scoring card, could they belong to this Alena girl? Do you know if she left personal belongings in places like the cabinets of the game room?

The makeup could belong to her; we know it doesn't belong to Sayaka, after all, so, it very well might. As for a bowling card...I dunno if she's the type to go bowling. But it could, for sure...it's a definite possibility.

What's it like being dead?

It doesn't feel much different from being alive, I can tell you that much. It's just...weird. You don't need to eat or sleep. You just sort of...exist.

Do ghosts dream? I mean, I'd totally say no since they don't have to sleep, but there's a couple of people I know here that either don't have to sleep or don't have to sleep much and they totally do, or did at some point...

We technically don't need to sleep, you're right! But interestingly enough, we have been getting memories back, same as you guys. I can't speak for everyone, because I just, you know, try to sleep every night just as a force of habit, but at some point during the night on Saturday, I have those really vivid dreams that feel like memories.

Otherwise, though, I mean, I don't have dreams the way you guys have dreams, I don't think. But I don't know if that's just a "me" thing or an "all ghosts" thing.

So, if it's possible to come back just by walking through that hallway...

If another person dies, they will be able to tell the others about it.

Exactly! And if we do that, we can all come back together, in theory!

[Well, it seems like you guys are having a nice little reunion over here. Unfortunately, a while into the meeting, you're going to start getting that weird, prickly feeling that you had on the first day here – the feeling that something is wrong, the strange, intrusive sense that there's one too many people in the room.

There aren't supposed to be nineteen people, are there? Eighteen, with Chitoge, but...

The odd one out is at least familiar this time, though he makes his entrance – or perhaps the lack thereof – in a similar fashion as he did back then; he's leaning up against the wall near the door, watching the proceedings with his arms folded over his chest and a sense of coldness in his eyes.]

You know I hate to interrupt you guys, but it's kind of necessary right now. You understand.

[His words are casual and general enough to be addressing the entire room; his eyes are locked pretty firmly on Chitoge, however.]

Don't tell me he's sick of you already...?

I'm a bit of a pain in the ass, and kind of hard to keep down. I'm sure you understand.

[ Shit, there goes hiding. She's got her strength back, so she can maybe run, but, something tells her that'd be a terrible idea. ]

Guess it's too late to say I'm sorry about the whole brownie fiasco? Though you look pretty well, for someone who ate that much cyanide.

[That...seems to get a bit of an odd reaction out of him; he tips his head a bit like he's trying to figure out what he thinks about any of that, before he seems to shake it off entirely, rolling his eyes a little.]

... you assume a lot by saying that, you know. Is it actually necessary? From the sound of it, she earned her way back, didn't she?

The rules are pretty basic. You play the game, you take your punishment or your rewards, and after that what's done is done and what's dead should ultimately stay that way.

We'd probably be more understanding if you don't do anything to Chitoge and just continued to hang around in the back somewhere, to be honest.
