Week 7.
In a surprise twist, no one died this week. Well, unless you count Chitoge Kirisaki, who returned to the land of the living only to die the same day. Maybe you all are onto something. Or maybe you were just lucky. On Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, and while there are no bodies to find today, you might not have had a very good night's sleep anyway. It seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost again, even though no one was murdered this past week. Surprisingly, a new set of doors hasn't opened up anywhere. You can search the entire facility if you'd like, but you won't find any new rooms or hallways. It looks as though you didn't earn anything new. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

She remembers reading it way back when, but she wasn't expecting to have it in her hands again. And despite her concern, she doesn't pass out after reading it like last time. Maybe it doesn't work the same way out here? Still, she feels like combing over the children's book in the library and she keeps it close to her person throughout the day.
Otherwise, her time is spent playing more Berzerk in the arcade yelling at the screen (she'll get away from Evil Otto someday) and working in the laundry room. Most people has learned how it works, but she wants to keep things clean. She feels weird wearing one of her hospital gown so she's washing her dress and wearing one of those ugly things they have in their rooms.
Every now and then she'll start furiously scrubbing at her own hands. She can't see the green, but maybe it will go away if she just keeps washing...
She'll talk if someone approaches her but, uh. She's a little hesitant to look for anyone herself after the meeting. The warmth of the reassurances has faded and fear of rejection is back.]

Fern.

O-Oh. Uh, hi Angel. Sorry, I didn't hear you come in. [If she pretends there isn't a problem its like there isn't one.]

[She doesn't really... know what to say? "Hi, I know what it's like to be pretty sure you're going to die" isn't exactly going to cut it, she feels like. So she smiles a little and, while making sure there's room and time for Fern to object, goes for a hug? Those work for her, she's found.]

Fern? You okay?

Hey honey. Yeah, just something from the vending machine that bugs me.
no subject
... Yeah, I got one of those, too. [ ... ] Want to talk about it?
no subject
[She slides it over.] Pretty sure it's why I don't like cake.
no subject
...
.......
Oh. ]
... Yeah, I can see why you don't like cake now.
[ THAT IS SURE A THING..... ]

Or something.
Angel, for her part, gets up early and heads to... the ballroom, actually, while she's pretty sure no one else is in there, and practices uh. A very simple dance, specifically the one Luca taught her. It's simple, but she likes it, and adds little dumb flourishes to it every once in a while.
If your character purposefully enters stealthily, they might get to watch for more than a few seconds. Otherwise, she'll break out of it and very nervously greet them.]
Hey, uh... morning! How are you?
[Wonder what that's all about... Well, later she heads to the kitchen because by god today is a day to practice some of the things people have taught her or tried to teach her. That is her #goal for today.
If only she could figure out cooking. She handles grilling herself a cheese just fine, but when it comes to doing anything beyond that she seems... flummoxed.
Maybe... maybe Operation Practice Stuff wasn't the best idea? That or she needs a break, so she heads to the conference room, where on one of the free whiteboards she has drawn up a basic map of some sort of... facility shaped like the letter H? And is circling various points on it. She lies how easy it is to draw and erase and draw again with markers, even if the room gives her the creeps a little.
And at night she can be found, as she often can, in the library reading, if you want a nice casual encounter.]

[ Sup buddy. Katniss looks through the cupboards. ]
What are you making?

[A very serious, very thoughtful bite of her sandwich.]

[ Hmm. ]
Maybe some tomato soup would be good with it.

But I can make it, too. Cilan taught me.

Good morning, Angel. Sorry, did I interrupt your dance practice?
no subject
No! I mean, I'd barely even call it practice, I can barely... I just learned from- ...Yeah, a little. But I'm not great at this whole dancing thing anyway, so...

...Which explains why Aligula's hopping over to the same one Angel's at to doodle in a free space. Just swirls and hearts, your Typical Aligula Stuff. ]
Hi, Angel! What's the H for?

[ he seems totally up his own ass enough for that. ]
You gonna party up with people to destroy it like the rebel collective did to the Dying Star in that Star Battles movie? [ ...THE REBEL ALLIANCE, THE DEATH STAR, STAR WARS MOVIE ]

[And... Angel has no possible clear way to engage with that sentence today so she's gonna just assume that's a thing where Aligula comes from.]
I don't know, but I know a few people want a shot at him, so I figured I should figure out a way.

You're super thoughtful. [ Hmmm. ] I'm not really a fighty type, but I probably wouldn't mind going along with whoever goes hunting him to talk to him and maybe give him a good smack if he started being a smart-mouth.
[ ..."not really a fighty type" except beyondians generally tend to be more violent because that's just how shit is and she's also not bothered by much— ]
