Week 1
Unfortunately (or fortunately, for those of you who decided he ranks at an 8 or higher) the Adjudicator has made an appearance and he doesn't seem to be lying about anything that's happening here. There's no way out. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Adjudicator told you about are still hanging in every room. While the Adjudicator himself is around, you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Competitors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. You'll notice that the clock in the foyer goes off periodically, however. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in; it seems it's being piped in over that PA system in the walls. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

They're, uh, surfboards.

... What's a surfboard?

Do you have the ocean by your district?

Sounds like a good way to get yourself killed.
[ ... okay. ]

You don't go out when there's storms! And you, like, you start small and know your limits, but it's just-
[awkward shrug]
It's pretty fun.

It's kinda all I do with my time. Surf, or write songs.

That...was a joke, wasn't it.
no subject
It was. Don't worry. I would've told you before you went to him.

[Katniss made a joke... He is so pleased...]
...You're being a lot less... [Hm. How does he put this.] ...You don't think it's dumb, right?
[He pats the notebook.]

[He sighs, he shrugs.]
It's a thing back there. You're supposed to be some level of book-smart, not this.

If it makes you happy, no one has a right to tell you it's stupid.

[His own little secret.]
Back home, school just got out, though, so- I can kinda turn off thinking about all that for awhile.
[especially since he's...here...and not back home.]
no subject
[ Well. It's true. ]
... if you ever want to talk-- I'm pretty good at listening.

Yeah. That'd be pretty cool sometime. Thanks, Katniss, glad someone understanding was the one to get this.
[He taps his journal again and reaches the dog-earred page...]

and looks a little puzzled.]
Even though I...think I might have designed something in my sleep?

And you remembered it?
[ She's impressed. ]

The Adjudicator knows something. I know he does. [ She says it in a frustrated voice. He's really starting to get on her worst side imaginable. ]
