Week 1

WEEK 1

Unfortunately (or fortunately, for those of you who decided he ranks at an 8 or higher) the Adjudicator has made an appearance and he doesn't seem to be lying about anything that's happening here. There's no way out. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Adjudicator told you about are still hanging in every room. While the Adjudicator himself is around, you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Competitors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge.

You'll notice that the clock in the foyer goes off periodically, however. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in; it seems it's being piped in over that PA system in the walls. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

COMPETITORS REMAINING: 30

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

I bet it costs a lot.
innocentloveholic: (09. ba de ya - say do you remember)

[personal profile] innocentloveholic 2016-07-10 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
It only costs as much as you're willing to spend! Sure, some of the items can be kinda pricy, but then there's like, stuff as low as ten or twelve zeros! The buffets are a little higher—like, twenty zeros or something I guess?

If you play it right, you can totally get more bang for your buck, too, and you can take home leftovers anyway!
flagitate: (follow the string)

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-10 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[ what are zeros?? is that her world's form of currency... ]

But-- there's a limit on how many leftovers you can take. Isn't there?
innocentloveholic: (07. as we danced in the night)

[personal profile] innocentloveholic 2016-07-10 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Hmm. ]

How much can you carry comfortably, with totally no risk of dropping it and letting it spill everywhere, Katniss?
flagitate: (traditional)

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-10 03:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Can I put it in a wagon or a bag?
innocentloveholic: (09. ba de ya - say do you remember)

[personal profile] innocentloveholic 2016-07-10 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
They're gonna be in these plastic containers the restaurant gives you, but if you have more than two or three they'll give you a bag to help carry those containers.

But those bags are super cheap and break easily, so I'd warn against using them!! And no wagons, un-for-tu-nate-ly.

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-10 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Damn. ]

If Gale were with me, we could carry a lot of food. Maybe a few bags' worth.

[ They've lugged a deer all the way back to Twelve, after all. ]
innocentloveholic: (10. ba de ya - dancing in september?)

[personal profile] innocentloveholic 2016-07-10 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
[ ... ]

I should prooobably mention this is all second-hand knowledge. I never ever go out to eat—Femt has dinner parties all the time, there's not really any need—but like, I always see people walking out with bags and stuff, talking about how they won't need to cook dinner for a few days!

[ ...yep. ]

It's still totally reliable, though!
flagitate: (♪ stowaway.)

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-10 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[ ... oh my god. ]

... I'll take your word for it.

[ aligula what the fuck ]

Femt's your home?

Femt's a... [ ............ ] fellow King of mine!

[ not a friend but they're in a gang together txt it ]

His title's King of Depravity. [ i'm sorry?? ] My home's... hmm, what's Hellsalem's Lot on again? Earth? Yeah, that sounds right.
flagitate: (♪ stowaway.)

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-10 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[ .... oh. ]

Hellsalem's Lot.

[ Sounds made up, like Hoenn. ]

It sounds... nice.

[ """nice""" ]
innocentloveholic: (22. ba de ya - say do you remember)

[personal profile] innocentloveholic 2016-07-10 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
It's exciting, that's for sure! You've probably got more of a chance staying alive here than you do walking down a street in the city!

[ but she sounds like, pretty enthused about that? or at least not, uh, horrified or downtrodden about it. ]
flagitate: (actionwood)

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-10 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[ but why tho ]

It doesn't sound like the kind of place I want to live.
innocentloveholic: (11. ba de ya - never was a cloudy day)

[personal profile] innocentloveholic 2016-07-11 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably not! There's not a ton of humas living there either, and if they are living there, then like... I dunno, actually. Maaaaybe obligation?

[ People are so big on that and duty and stuff. ]
flagitate: (arrowsmith)

[personal profile] flagitate 2016-07-12 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
... Yeah. Obligation sounds right.
