Week 1

WEEK 1 Unfortunately (or fortunately, for those of you who decided he ranks at an 8 or higher) the Adjudicator has made an appearance and he doesn't seem to be lying about anything that's happening here. There's no way out. It seems like you're stuck here for the time being and the rules the Adjudicator told you about are still hanging in every room. While the Adjudicator himself is around, you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Competitors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. You'll notice that the clock in the foyer goes off periodically, however. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in; it seems it's being piped in over that PA system in the walls. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) COMPETITORS REMAINING: 30

That's half the reason I offered lessons to you -- the lack of anything to do here. I fear I'll be driven mad before long.

... I hope he'll allow us to explore a little more, in the future. There must be more to this place.

I can't imagine why there wouldn't be...there's not too much here to do, and it just seems like such a small building to house thirty-one people if we include him...

[Like. Is he just expcting their sole entertainment to be all of this? Potential hazards, making food, and talking to others?

...It sounds legitimate enough, but Sayaka ponders for a moment.]

I kinda hope there's a library here, at the very least. It'd be really nice to have something to read...

... I was able to get a book from our host, actually -- it's a dreary read, nothing that'll keep your eyes open, but it's something. I hope there's more interesting literature somewhere though.

Sayaka perks at that, though!] Wait, Adjudicator-san--he'll actually give people things? He didn't really strike me as the type to do that at all...

[She's. A little thankful that she didn't say the first thing on her mind, at least, but she's in genuine disbelief.] If he's got one, maybe he has a collection? ...Hopefully not of boring books, I don't think many people would be happy about that much.
