did you think this group meeting wasn't going to be a party because have i got news for you

[ Hopefully everyone has gotten their flyers, their reminders, their... everything, because this is going to be a very sorry meeting otherwise.

The ballroom is decorated as brightly and frivolously as it would be if it were hosting an ordinary party: while there isn't a parfait bar (shock!!! horror!!!), there are some tables grabbed from somewhere laden with small foods like sandwiches and crepes and other things you can just hold in your hand—though you're welcome to bring your own if you don't trust it, considering what happened at the last meeting. There's also a list of questions set out on some tables sitting in the middle of the room; like the last point says, they're not imperative, but they're to help things get moving and keep moving.

...there are also chairs around the tables-in-the-middle so people can sit, the conference room is right across the hall so they probably took those and no, seriously, they could've held this there but it wouldn't have been half as fun. Or Feridy. ]

[ ooc: just like at our last group meetings/our trials/etc, mingle and jump in whenever and with whatever! ]

The infirmary. It was in a rather unusual spot, because the universe likes its laughs I suppose.

And what's your definition of 'rather unusual spot'?

[You sure love getting people to ask further questions, eh, Ferid?]

[He does. It's a fun pastime.]

A blood bag~. Now, isn't that a strange place for a key to end up? And to be found by a vampire... As I said, the universe loves its laughs.

[Naoto cringes for a moment. Of course the vampire would find something in the blood bags. But still...]

That's certainly a strange spot to hide it...

...it may be the key of this lodge. We haven't found the exit, and chances are we won't until there are a few deaths more.

[In his defense, it was the last place he looked.]

And no one'd like that possibility, would they.

[...]

Still, with a motive like that, I wonder. Not everyone is so comfortable with their secrets being known to their peers at large.

How would Juri-san know our secrets, by the way?

I'm not sure how, but...

I have no doubt that he does know enough information about us. He said he was the one behind the titles, and the profiles.

And he knew I was a vampire before I spoke actually with him regarding what I needed, or had the idea of it. Who knows what else he's gathered about us.
oasisrose: (I know)

We need to assume that it's everything. It could even be more than we do -- do you remember our conversation about our ages, Ferid?

I haven't the faintest idea how, though. He doesn't seem to be any sort of mind-reader... although if he did have those kinds of powers, it would give us an explanation for our memory problems.

At any rate, that only extends to the past. He said once that he can't see the future -- and whether or not you take him at his word, I don't feel that's something he would lie about.

I'm aware you were cutting blood bags open, but it seems you missed this one.

[So, so sorry.

Not.]

And I hope so~. I've been carrying it on my person for weeks now, with no end in sight. I'd like to be rid of it now.

I could keep that key, if that's okay.

That's perfectly fine by me, detective. I don't have much use for it, after all.
