i'll be dreaming of the day we meet again
[ After she gets Fern patched up, Aligula starts on what might be her Best Party Ever.
...until her next one, anyway. It's no surprise where she's hosting today: it's the dormitory area. Throughout the hours of setting it up, it gets more and more colorful—the doors of the dead (both newly deceased and old) get childish paper cut-out flowers (think the daisy looking ones), while the living get stars. They're all in different colors, with no real discernible pattern! Long strands of ribbon decorate the walls along with more colorful party hat-looking cut-outs, in and out of the little cul-de-sac areas. In the center of the area are blankets laid out with plates of pancakes and trays of tea, stacked on tables made out of books. (There are also parfaits in wine glasses, because of course there are.)
More importantly, there are pillows across the floor of the entire hallway and especially stacked around the center, and in every little room area there's a nice note posted to one of the walls, in Aligula's ever familiar curly handwriting:

Apparently, today's after-party is the slumber party type to even help people who might not want to wander the hallways tonight. ...and look, Luca, she even took your advice. ]

She'll scoot in, giving Kyouko's room a look around before deciding that leaning against a wall is perfectly fine. (She's more of a "sit on the desk" kind of girl, honestly.) ]
I had to do this with Cilan earlier too—he was in his room, and I don't think he felt very well? It took a bit to even get in. At least his pokéfriends were happy to see me. [ ...Well, Pansage was, once everyone else was out to eat pancakes they were pretty good with her too. ] Are you okay? ...Totally stupid question, I know, but like, totally bear with me here.

She moves to sit on the edge of her bed. ]
...This trial was a lot harder to get through than the others. [ Sorry she can never be direct. ]
no subject
And don't worry, she's used to working with not-direct people. ...thanks Ferid. ]
I don't usually think so, buuut... I agree. [ Huff. ] I sorta get why other people were so... upset? About the culprits in every other case.
[ She doesn't sound as sure, really, about her word choice—she just knows she has a lot of Feelings she doesn't usually have and she's not entirely certain what to do with all of them. After a moment, she giggles. ]
Well, almost every other case. [ There's that One Case she's pretty sure everyone was on the same page about. Maybe two cases, though she actually had a good time with Rideaux. ]

It's hard... when people you trust do something like this. I don't think anyone realizes just how difficult it is until it's someone you placed a lot of trust in.
It was the same at Hope's Peak.

[ ...that's kind of cool— wait she could just mean it was a school of betrayal, it doesn't have to be murder. ]

I was forced into a game like this one back at my old school.
no subject
Did you win?

[ ...which she knows is partially her fault, since she encourages all types of shitposting via playing the peanut gallery.
oh no she's not going to be able to do that anymore because ferid's gone. that's... not something that occurred to her until now. she hates this. ]
no subject
[ Because she can't really be bothered to do it herself. ]
He isn't even a detective at all... we may actually be better off here.
no subject
...That's really incredible, and you still have faith in them... You're a really hopeful person, huh? That's actually kinda admirable!
no subject
I haven't always been a hopeful person... I've probably been influenced by one of my classmates.
no subject
[ ...THIS MATTERS TO HER. ]
no subject
She's silent for a second before glancing away. ]
His name is Makoto Naegi.
no subject
It's a nice name. [ It sounds nice, at least. ] Tell me about this boy who's inspired hope in you, Detective~!
[ please distract her from the awful that is today. ]
no subject
He's... fairly average, to be honest. I suppose that's what I like most about him, though. In the middle of a group of talented students, he's able to put things outside of his talent first and look for the good in people beyond what they're capable of. [ Oh great... she's actually saying a lot more than she expected. ]
no subject
What elllse do you like about him? [ that's. definitely her "tell me about your MEGA CRUSH" voice, i. i am so sorry?? ]
no subject
He's a good friend. [ Which is very true! ]
I don't have feelings for him, if that's what you are insinuating. [ And that is not so true. ]

......ALSO SHE HAS MAYBE TALKED VERY FONDLY OF HER FRIENDS SHE MADE HERE LIKE THAT BUT anyway we are here to uncover kyouko's hidden feelings of love, not talk about details. ]
no subject
I suppose I feel more strongly than I initially thought.
no subject
[ say you have a crush. do it. ]
no subject
no subject
since aligula got on the "kyouko has a crush" thing. have fun. ] Come ooonnnn~!
