Week 8.

WEEK 8 Despite the week of peace - or in some cases, because of it - it seems that the stream of deaths is going to continue unabated; if anything, there's been a sharp uptick this week. Yuri Lowell, Angel Hyperion, Naoto Shirogane, Aymeric de Borel, Isaac McDougal, and Ferid Bathory have all joined the deceased. In one week, you've dropped from over half your original number being alive, to almost two-thirds being dead. But surely things can only go up from here on out, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Another set of doors has opened up, once again branching off of the eastern corridor and leading toward the south. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've definitely earned it this week. [She has to stop and think about that. While she was in there, she had been deadset on bringing everyone in here immediately, because this is kind of a big deal. The idea of waiting hadn't even occurred to her.

But now that she's considering it...]

We do need to tell Terumi and Aligula right away, since they both have one in here, but... now that I think about it, we should probably take some time to decide how to break this to the rest gently. I don't like to think what Inigo's reaction will be when he sees Mozu.

So let's hold off until the meeting to tell the whole group. [She pauses.] I'm not sure what we should do with the bodies until then, though. I'm not sure I like leaving her in there.

Why not move them to the unoccupied bedrooms? I do not think anyone goes into Walter's room, for example.

All right, but only if we do not use Walter's room.

[She looks defensive of her doppelganger, lying prone on the floor.]

The bottom half of the dorms should be better, anyway. They're almost cleared out, which should cut down the the chances of someone finding them by mistake.

Hmm...what about one of the rooms way at the end of the hall, in that last group? I think only Cilan lives there, and he is staying with someone else right now.

That is going to be our best bet. After all, Aligula and I are both across the hall from it. We can keep an eye out and keep people from poking around. And I know Terumi has at least one of the keys for a room there...

[Which is going to be a fun conversation with Yuri after this is all over.]
