Week 2.
With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

...You look unwell.
[I mean, she's been covered in bandages since she arrived, but the whole looking pale and shaky thing is new.]
no subject
... Just. Bad dream. I'm fine.
no subject
After a moment of looking startled, he goes back to neutral, though. No harm done, apparently.]
After what happened, I'm not surprised a number of us had strange dreams.

[ ... ]
What are you making?
no subject
[He's fine with not talking about it in great detail.]
I'm making pancakes.
[English pancakes, to be specific, so they look flatter than American pancakes.]
They're quite good when you wrap fruit in them.
no subject
That sounds good. [ can she have one. ]
no subject
[That's more casually than how he usually talks. Maybe that means something??]
Do you want one?
no subject
Yeah. That'd be great. [ ... ] Strawberries?
no subject
Have you never had strawberries before?
no subject
no subject
There aren't many many in the fridge, but there's enough to eat with breakfast.
no subject
These are a lot bigger than the ones we grow.
no subject
Would you like them whole or chopped up?
no subject
Chopped up. [ She doesn't think she could eat them as easily if they were whole... ]
no subject
[It's not much longer before he's done. He's no professional chef like Cilan, but it's obvious that Flemming is a decent enough home cook, because the pancakes look delicious.]
no subject
It's really, really good.
no subject
Thank you.
It's my daughter's favorite breakfast.

no subject
That's right. I make it every Sunday, if I can. Of course, she's not here, but...
Habits being what they are...
[He trails off, looking awkward.]
no subject
Yeah. Sometimes I still reach for my bow and arrows, but...

no subject
[ And Peeta, apparently. ]
We can't let them down.
no subject
We owe it to them to get out of here as soon as possible.
no subject
... What's your daughter like?
no subject
She's very talented in math for her age-- she's already incredibly interested in chemistry, too.
