Week 6.
Only two died this week; it still feels strange, maybe, but with the deaths of Mozu and Yang Xiao Long, it's difficult to ignore that your numbers are lower. You're almost down to half of the group you started with. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, another set of doors has opened up, this time branching off of the eastern corridor toward the north. Feel free to explore as much as you like; perhaps you've earned it. |

[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

Quite the feat, isn't it?

Yeah. It's... almost unreal. Which sucks to say, but.

I suppose Juri had more pressing matters than danging threats and rewards over our head this week.
[ ... annnd she's melancholy. Poor Chitoge... ]

["Poor Chitoge" has been one of the biggest thoughts running through Angel's head straight on since Tuesday so she gets the whole melancholy thing... maybe a sliht subject change, maybe that.]
I wonder why we didn't just get something like that the next day. I'm glad we didn't, but at the same time...

[ Mahiru falls silent. ]
Perhaps he thought that after this week's events, we wouldn't commit a murder even with an 'incentive'. Imagine how we would have rallied together if we were able to show him he held no sway over us anymore?
no subject
[And she says this as someone to whom Juri was just generous the other night, albeit in a way that doesn't particularly help or hinder anyone. But then again Juri could just be aware that she has negative desire to kill right now.]
no subject
It's not generous at all - just practical. There are those among us that I'm sure will say the lack of motive is likely the real reason no one died this week. Ferid. Aligula. Katniss. Terumi.
[ Pause. ]
Myself.
[ Yeah, go team cynicism! ]
But if he'd given us an incentive and we'd ignored it, we'd be better motivated to ignore the next on, and the one after that. Leaving us to squirm and stew is simply the less risky choice.
no subject
[She's gotten so bad at being cynical since she got this whole "reason to want to live" junk going on, ugh Mahiru it is just the worst.]
Guess the real question is if it's a one or two week break. Get back on schedule quick or build up some paranoia?
no subject
Fortunately... [ She frowns. That's not the right word but whatever. ] I think he's far too impatient to leave us hanging for that long.
no subject
Lucky us. We just need to wait to see what he picks this time.
no subject
... I suppose we're lucky he's not the sort to offer to bring anyone back.
no subject
[NOT THAT IT WOULD WORK FOR HER, BUT...]
Or to kill anyone we want dead back home.
no subject
[ ... Looking a little too invested there, Mahiru. ]
no subject
[Listen she didn't bring it up because she isn't in that boat quite honestly it's the only motive she'd even consider killing for right now. But also: looking a little too invested there, yeah.]
I guess we just wait and see.
