Week 6.
Only two died this week; it still feels strange, maybe, but with the deaths of Mozu and Yang Xiao Long, it's difficult to ignore that your numbers are lower. You're almost down to half of the group you started with. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, another set of doors has opened up, this time branching off of the eastern corridor toward the north. Feel free to explore as much as you like; perhaps you've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]
TUESDAY
RETURN.
It's a feeling that settles in late in the morning, and while it's hard to tell exactly what's changed, it's evident that something, somehow, has. It isn't that someone else has died; everyone is accounted for in some way or another. You can check if you want; your numbers are exactly where they should be. Juri, as usual, isn't making any sort of public appearance, though anyone knocking on his door this morning or trying to get in will find it strangely locked and silent.
Shortly after the odd feeling has settled in, however, there's something that will change eventually in the area of the foyer – namely, that door leading to the courtroom, the one that's always locked during the week, will swing open.
And once it's open...well, there's someone there. Someone you haven't seen in a while.]
Re: RETURN.
Chitoge can still feel her skin crawling; the anticipation of what was waiting for her made her heart pound the whole way through. It had just been a hallway--an ambiently lit one, at that. It's not like something was going to jump out at her from the darkness, but even so, the feeling as she moved that something wasn't quite right just kept going the longer she walked.
By the time she got to the end, she was drained as could be, and she looks it; pale as a ghost, sweating bullets, her blonde hair in shambles, ribbon drooping at the ends...but, well, she's here, at least.
In the fucking courtroom, of all places. That fucking giant hallway, and all it did was loop around from the office to the courtroom?!
She'd swear, from the top of her lungs, but, well...she needs to catch her breath, first. Hopefully no one minds if she slumps against the wall a bit...just for a few minutes. Some discovery... ]

K-Katniss? What are you doing here? Aren't you...you shouldn't be here!
[ For one thing, it isn't Friday, and, well, Yang and Mozu had just arrived...wasn't it too soon? ]

[ ... ]
Wait. Where do you think we are?

This is not what Yuri was expecting at all, in the slightest. He'll stand there, dumbfounded. ]
...Chitoge? How?

[ This is just too weird... ]

[ At least he thinks so, but-- ]
So, are you feeling alright? Not hurt anywhere or anything?
[ Might as well check?? She looked tired. ]

[ She'd probably sound a little more prideful of that if she wasn't so tired and confused right now. You might have to give her a minute, Inigo. ]
I don't know what's going on here...

[ Did Juri do this? He did revive Yang for the execution, but... it doesn't really make sense for him to do this.
...Also he decides to move closer and put a hand on her shoulder, just to make sure she's really there and that he isn't hallucinating or something. ]

Re: RETURN.
[The first emotion Naoto feels is shock, but it's followed by relief. Look, she hadn't talked with Chitoge, but that didn't mean Chitoge's death had been something she approved.
And it was true Chitoge had been pretty idiotic in her attempt to poison Juri, but that didn't mean she deserved death.
To see her alive again...it's amazing!
Sorry for Naoto staring at you, Chitoge!]

[ There's no doubt about that. But still... ]
But...you're right. This...probably takes the cake.

Chitoge.
Okay, she... she knows how to start a conversation, right? That's still a thing she can do? Angel weakly raises a hand and manages:]
H-Hey.
[It's inquisitive more than anything, but... the dreams with Chitoge in them hurt when she wakes up. And she's learned better by now.]

Hearing Angel's voice spurs her, a bit, though. Puts a bit more of a spring in her step. Everyone's crowding around her, a bit, understandably, but, she's still definitely looking right at Angel. Tries her best to manage a smile and head towards her.
There's...a lot she wants to say right now. She tries to think of a clever way to greet her friend after so long, but...
She's kind of bad with words, when it counts. And she never managed to do this when she was alive, so...
Hope a hug's good for now. Quips can come later. ]
