Trustfell 5: A Good Day to Trust Fall ([personal profile] trustfellowship) wrote in [community profile] trustfelled2017-06-18 11:56 am

Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

It seems that way. Prodding her for information just gets us led in circles.

Or forcing someone else's hand. Someone may attempt to stop her by way of killing her.

[He's equally as worried about that, to be honest.]

[personal profile] ossifragant 2017-06-25 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
That's good, at least. We've got some young kids here, but Sakura and Rin, at least, seem like they can hold their own.

At least the Risen aren't taking people who seem vulnerable.
ossifragant: (⊕ precious like starlight)

[personal profile] ossifragant 2017-06-25 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
....Well. Yeah.

What's your purpose, then? To look vaguely unsettling?

[greed]
ossifragant: (Ô haunted i tell myself)

[personal profile] ossifragant 2017-06-25 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Not at all, actually. I don't really remember a whole lot about the guy-- memories here and there. It's.... complicated.

No more than it is the purpose of all organic living things to die.

Ha. Toriel is much better at those things than I. Perhaps if we ever find some good plants, I could make up a few new blends of tea...

That should rather defeat the purpose of preventing a murder, I should think.
ossifragant: (Ò do thou spare him)

[personal profile] ossifragant 2017-06-25 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that so?

[He looks interested, though he doesn't ask for an elaboration. He has an idea what it could mean.]

That doesn't surprise me. People will go to great lengths to hide things they want to protect.

It's a bit complicated to explain. My position isn't like that of nobility, or a simple mayor and the like. As the title would indicate, I just supervise.

It's like saying "you there, you're in charge of all the cats in this town, and cleaning up after them if they make a mess".

I can understand that much. It has been a long time since I spent so many nights apart from my wife.

[Not to like, draw a parallel there]

[ . . .Cats???

She shakes her head ]

Ah, I see.

[ She doesn't see anything, but she is about to yawn, so - ]

... I should probably return to bed. I hope you can find more answers.

I would not have thought that.

[He considers this a moment.]

Smell makes up a great part of taste, does it not? I am no scientist, but it seems as though taste should have been an easy enough thing to add as well.
heritrix: (playing hooky)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-25 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[Phew, dodged a bullet there. ...Even if the response Rin gave her made perfect sense in her own head. She laughs a bit, as if she found her own explanation funny.]

Thanks. Have a nice night, Nachetanya.

Unfortunately, I don't have any comparisons quite that intimate - seeking out any sort of romantic partner hasn't really been an interest of mine.

[...MUCH TO EVERYBODY'S SURPRISE, I'M SURE.]

It's more that I'm unused to the soundproofing - I'm almost always stationed somewhere with a good amount of people, so there's always some sort of noise happening where I can hear it.
nachetanya: (Mean Streets of Gadgetzan)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-25 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You too. Please rest well, Rin.

[ There's the yawn.

With the markers in hand, back to her room... ]
ossifragant: (⊗ soon heads will be rolling)

[personal profile] ossifragant 2017-06-25 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
What, like she's part cat?

.....Maybe. You'd think if she was that catlike, she'd meow or something.
heritrix: (halcyon)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-25 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[Rin would disagree, but she's pleasantly surprised to see Rose standing up for herself like that. After a blink, it gets a grin.]

Right? I make a mean cookie, though I don't have them often. I bet the Transmitter loved them.
protectandselfserve: as long as it doesn't cut into the personal swimming pool in the evidence room fund. (why i can spare a $50!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-25 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed! It's a bit of a mixed bag, honestly.
nachetanya: (Sparkle)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-25 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm still not sure I have a concept for what it even is, honestly.
heritrix: (concern)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-26 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
That's right. That's what everyone should take away from this, too.

[And definitely not pull a Corrin.]
heritrix: (hips don't lie)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-26 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
[Servants do need great upper body strength.]

Good luck finding them!

[She's going to ask about goggles for him with the Transmitter tonight, but no dice there. Maybe she can make some. Also she's eyeing this mess, scooting away so she doesn't get her skirt wet.]

I'll find someone to clean this up.

[Because she doesn't want to...]
crywiththesaints: Turning around (this coffin that holds me tight)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-26 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. I wouldn't expect everyone to die just because someone sneaked up on you in the night.
protectandselfserve: but I think he's wrong! (well!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-26 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
What, not being able to understand each other?

...

I've been wondering about that, although I appreciate that we don't have to deal with language barriers on top of everything else.
heritrix: (just a normal high school girl)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-26 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
No, but I ran a similar experiment in the sewing room last week.
