WEEK 3
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

That's good, at least. We've got some young kids here, but Sakura and Rin, at least, seem like they can hold their own.

At least the Risen aren't taking people who seem vulnerable.

True. Some of us may be more vulnerable than others, but I do not think any of us are exactly defenseless.

...though I am not sure everyone is experienced with actual combat, either. Perhaps a bit of self-defense training could help.

That might be wise.

We've had too many people get ambushed as it is. Felicia probably wasn't defenseless, but those of us familiar with combat might be better off teaching others how to defend themselves.

The basics, at least. I would ordinarily get into combat training as well, like with the Guard, but here...a way to defend oneself and perhaps restrain an attacker would be enough. To buy time for others to come, if they cannot be held down.

Yeah. Even a small person can take down someone bigger than themself if they have the proper knowledge.

It'd be easier if the rooms weren't all soundproof, but hopefully some basic training can help someone get away from an attacker.

That is inconvenient, yes...but at least if they could make it back to the rooms, they could likely wake someone.

Maybe we should consider holding a training session-- if nothing else it'll hopefully give someone the advantage to get the hell outta there.

I help with the Royal Guard training from time to time! That involves much more magic than physical combat, of course...that is where the strength of monsters lies.
