Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

She also knows she might be pressed to explain her obsession with the shooting gallery if she doesn't.

So Tsubasa won't feel any resistance, though Sakura quiets on the way there.]

[ she nods!

And turns her gaze back to the paper, taking the pen out again and... starting on finishing that last paragraph with renewed vigor. ]

I know.

[ She laughs a little, not looking up from the page. It's an opening for her to leave or to sit with her if she wanted to talk more. ]

But I'm none of that, so it doesn't really matter, right?

[Looks like Wheatley isn't particulaly susceptible to philosophical debates]

[He can't do much more to hold back his curiosity at this point, so...]

Is there a reason for that...?

No, of course not. [Whether a lie or the truth, her shock is solid, and she recoils from both Nachetanya and the question]

All I was do was practicing.

I see. That is an interesting response to these dreams. In general, it's...good, that some are getting any helpful information at all from them.

[So, after all this, they're still have done zero progress on understanding why they're here or what the Transmitter and the others want. Cool.]

I guess we'll know once we meet the Transmitter face to face. It shouldn't take long, there are some people around here who'll make it happen. Like Ryoji! He'll have several dates with her.

[ He still doesn't entirely get why Ryoji's playing cafe, but he's not going to stop him if it's what he wants to do. He shrugs (more out of being passive than being exasperated) and practically drops himself into a seat. ]

[ She sounds amused at that, either not noticing or not acknowledging the recoiling ]

I wish I could say that I was at all surprised by that...

...Until then, I think I may have some idea of how to fix that crack in your optic. Meet me in the art room sometime within the next few days.

Somewhat. But it is also exciting to get these new experiences, when I can encounter them.

[ She stands at the edge of the pool, curling her toes over the edge when she slips out of her shoes ]

Does that mean you're troubled today?

[ From her smile... Well, Nachetanya leans in a little. ]

What? What looks like a human but isn't a human?

[This is very new to him. What nonsense are you talking about, Rin?]

That's true! It must be fun to learn about all these new things, huh?

[She swims closer, holding to the edge of the pool once she's near enough.]

Well... I think my most recent one may be connected to my first? Potentially, at least. But I still have no actual context for the first one.

[ Ryoji does not generally like getting up early, but seeing as he's doing his best Starbucks barista impression today he's here.]

Good morning Rin-chan! Oh, what's that? [ He's looking at the note with curiosity.]

[That's some good hearing he has. He had a back-up plan if Lovecraft didn't surface but at least this way he wouldn't have to drop candy in the pool like he's feeding a fish.]

I suppose not, but having another death so soon wouldn't help morale.

[nachetanya]

[ Ah, if we're doing that- Nachetanya crouches down over the edge, folding her legs so as to not panty shot in her nurse outfit and showing honestly pretty impressive balance to do this while one-armed and all. ]

It is. It's discouraging when I'm talking about things, but learning about a radio or about a refrigerator or other things I can touch really is exciting.
