Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]
journalname: (🔱 it's getting colder)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-22 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Though I do not see what they are gaining from it, save perhaps entertainment.
journalname: (🔱 hold on)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-22 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
It cannot be helped. And I did not expect they would leave such a clear avenue open.

[well then]

Would you like a tour of this place, perhaps?
crywiththesaints: Looking informal and friendly (awakes me to this stillness)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-22 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
That's the question, isn't it? As long as they're inscrutable, things will remain as they are.
heritrix: (look here)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-22 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Yup! What kind are they to start? Paintball style barricades, or something thick and heavy duty?

Once she's identified them, she's going to be looking over them for damage like what's seen in the shooting range, or any other strange marks.]
brushworks: (SPRITE ▶ explaining.)

[personal profile] brushworks 2017-06-22 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
I will keep it. Destroying it would be... disrespectful. [ He shakes his head, his shoulders slumping a bit. ]

The Sayuri is the painting that made me want to become an artist in the first place; I cannot stand the thought of seeing it destroyed, even if it is a mere fake.
journalname: (🔱 faded)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-22 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
At least we can speak with them now. If only for a brief window of time on Tuesdays.
nachetanya: (Awakening)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-22 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Does that mean you think our communication with the Transmitter is compromised somehow?
enhancements: (Default)

[personal profile] enhancements 2017-06-22 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
[That doesn't seem to be anything she expected, but...]

I would. It's for the best to know what sort of place this is, if we're going to be here for a while.

How many of you are here?
nachetanya: (Socialist Utopia)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-22 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Me and the other five Braves were going into our battle with the Evil God. It's a risk that we need to accept.

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-22 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
There are twenty-six of us now. There were thirty to begin with.

[AAAAAAAAND we are leaving the vending machine room! Welcome to the hallway.]
aspiringly: (now let me think on this.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-22 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
[It's a little strange to hear that, considering Yusuke's own position as an artist. Either way, it sounds like a bit of a sensitive topic and it's not hard to notice that catch there.]

I see. It's a shame that your adoptive father was involved in something like that, then. It's hard to see it as anything more, knowing that.

[personal profile] carnivorously 2017-06-22 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
[Kogami honestly has. He just didn't question it ever.]

I recall that.

[There's a 'what of it?' attached to that, but he's honestly trying to be as gentle as he can to not sound demanding and interrogating right now.]

[personal profile] cadmiums 2017-06-22 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
Not here, back home! But I miss him a bit, so I decided to "work" here instead.
carnivorously: (78)

[personal profile] carnivorously 2017-06-22 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
It does. Honestly, it's nice to just go in a pool facility without trying to ask for permission like a five year old.

[Yay having less rights than others...]
carnivorously: (63)

[personal profile] carnivorously 2017-06-22 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
[Seeing her reaction and the way she practically screams at him actually causes him to drop it.]

It's... just a plush.

[Though that's definitely not a reaction from someone who thinks it's 'just a plush'.]

However, I'm guessing there's a story behind this.
nachetanya: (The League of Explorers)

[personal profile] nachetanya 2017-06-22 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
It is a beautiful painting.

[ she stands properly, taking a step back ]

I can see how you would be inspired by it. I'm sorry your father gave it such tainted memories.
carnivorously: (60)

[personal profile] carnivorously 2017-06-22 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
They want us locked up before we commit the crime. From a logical standpoint, it makes sense.

[But realistically, it hardly does.]
aspiringly: (that's quite the tale you have there.)

[personal profile] aspiringly 2017-06-22 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
I've seen some rather personal items coming from the machine, but I didn't realize that was the case for your tea, as well. It's a little disturbing to think about.

[Kidnapping them is one thing, but this goes into raiding people's homes and such for personal effects.]

If I see any more of it, however, I'll be sure to let you know.
heritrix: (step on the little people)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-06-22 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
[He really wants to know? Rin kept it vague out there for a reason.]

...It's strange to be discussing this with a non-mage. [She comments this to herself, walking over to her bedside.] I know I said I didn't care anymore, but this still feels taboo.

[Which isn't to say she's not telling, she's just gathering herself. And apparently she expects the explanation to take some time, because she sits on her bed.]

In the best case scenario, the Association will try to spin it that I'm just into magic tricks, like Nozomi postulated. It's a simple explanation, and I've had that school wrapped around my finger for years. The majority of them would easily buy it and forget. There are possibly two or three people in the school I can think of who would take the secret at face value. If they tried to dig deeper or convince others, the Mage's Association would quickly dispose of them, but the casualties would be minimal.
crywiththesaints: Angry in shadow (frozen my body rises through the dark)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-22 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Have they been at all helpful?
crywiththesaints: Critical look (and the past that it leaves)

[personal profile] crywiththesaints 2017-06-22 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
I'd be surprised if the Risen weren't listening in, but anybody else? It's unlikely. Nobody's come to the rescue, after all.
journalname: (🔱 an old friend)

[personal profile] journalname 2017-06-22 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
Not in the least.

[asshole(s)]

But it is still a better opportunity than no communication with them at all.
carnivorously: (58)

[personal profile] carnivorously 2017-06-22 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
You never know who might be.

[He shrugs. Or maybe he's actually aware that, uh, he has an attractive body. Who knows?]
protectandselfserve: ah, those were the days. (aha! an honest to goodness objection!)

[personal profile] protectandselfserve 2017-06-22 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
You know, it didn't kill me and it didn't taste horrible, even if the problem was really that it didn't taste at all, so hey! I've got to hand that to the little guy, at the very least. It's a start!
carnivorously: (43)

[personal profile] carnivorously 2017-06-22 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
Same here. I'm not surprised if I get another's belongings now-- which is why I try to see if others got my cigarettes from time to time.

[Though he's glad to have gotten them of his own accord.]
