Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

Not here, back home! But I miss him a bit, so I decided to "work" here instead.

So that desire was born out of a sense of homesickness than anything else. It certainly has been awhile since we've been trapped here, so it's understandable.

[cadmiums]

[ He thinks about that for a second as he finishes making the beverages.]

I think I miss Makoto more than anything else.

[Missing a friend, huh...]

I see. It sounds as if you two are close.

[cadmiums]

We are, I think I know him better than I know myself.

[aspiringly]

I suppose I can relate to that a little bit. [Summers spent climbing trees with an honest boy and a prideful girl come to mind.]

Is he someone you knew from your childhood?

[cadmiums]

Oh, no it's not like that. [...] I just met him recently when I transferred schools.

[aspiringly]

[Maybe he shouldn't be too surprised considering how friendly Ryoji is, but saying something like knowing him better than one's self... seems a little extreme.]

That's quite a strong assertion to make, then. But then there are those who simply mesh well together.

Yeah, I think it's something like that. I only feel that way with Makoto-- like we were destined to be close.

[aspiringly]

Destiny, is it? That's a little strange to hear from someone who's said to dislike fate.

[cadmiums]

[...] I never said it was a good thing.

[aspiringly]

Touché. Is that something you should be saying about a friend, though?

[cadmiums]

Not in that way. [ He pauses to rearrange his scarf.]

I feel like I'll hurt him, somehow.
