Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

Indeed. Until we were given access to the infirmary, I was honestly worried that we would have to resort to desperate means of getting by in the event someone here became sick or injured.

It is pretty routinized when you do it up every day though. I assume you also can do your braids in a matter of moments without really thinking about it.

So it's... best if I'm the victim. Whoever kills me will likely be caught, but it means you and the others will at least have one more week to find an escape.

It's been a while since Danny last gave into the temptation of smoking, but thankfully he doesn't cough or choke here as he props the door open a little to let the smoke vent out.]

[worried about what happened the night before, Osomatsu seeks out Tsubasa. he's only had a few short conversations with her, but he's always gotten the impression that she was a good girl. it was purrfectly understandable that she was stressed out. with murders that kept happening, and people being held against their will, and she was a young adult. she didn't need this... none of them did.

in any case, Osomatsu looks around the facility for her, and finds her in the sewing room. he doesn't notice the sheets at first, just that she's sewing something. and it's none of his business why those sheets are torn]

Honestly, Kogami's watching the other man if he does end up coughing or choking, and when he doesn't, well... it seems he was right to offer Danny one.]

[When it comes to smoking, Kogami is not considerate in the least, unfortunately.]

In any case, I came to keep you company and making sure you're not wallowing in some despair that could harm us all, ultimately.

Does it really? I can't imagine what the point would be in doing that, given the situation and there not being a lot of options to choose from here.

I'm not planning on killing anyone here right now if that's what you're worried about: that would just be giving them the satisfaction more so than getting anything out of it for myself.

I know. Until today, taking them out without sacrificing anyone else is what I planned.

But I can't risk that, if I haven't stopped them come Friday. If they would stay true to their word, and there was something I could have done. There— [She sucks in a breath, and lifts her head. Don't imagine it.] There's too much at stake for me not to try.

Yep. And apparently for something else they're not telling us, but if they won't tell us then it doesn't really matter.

There's not, however, it's because we're in this situation people may be attempting to find someone they can find comfort in.

I figured that would be the case, however, I wanted to make sure that despair didn't swallow you, or something like that.

In other words, despite the fact we've barely met I think I can say, with confidence, that I'm here for you.

It could be that we're in a situation where if we don't put ourselves as a top priority, we could end up being the next victim.

[Honestly, Kogami's unsure why he's reaching out to others. It's true he has a goal, but at the end of the day, he finds satisfaction in supporting others. And murder. And trials.

[She walks more like a prisoner to the guillotine than someone who enjoys archery, fighting for some semblance of control, and she likes to think she has it by the time they enter the room. Her face is clear, all traces of the previous breakdown vanished.

The problem are her thoughts. The moment she picks up a bow, Sakura sees the future and knows how poorly this will go.]
