Week 3.
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

You're welcome.
[He'll get his match book out too, ready to light a match for Danny when and if he's ready to smoke.]
no subject
It's been a while since Danny last gave into the temptation of smoking, but thankfully he doesn't cough or choke here as he props the door open a little to let the smoke vent out.]
no subject
listen this was a missed opportunityHonestly, Kogami's watching the other man if he does end up coughing or choking, and when he doesn't, well... it seems he was right to offer Danny one.]
Sorry, I should have thought before stinking up your room.
[When it comes to smoking, Kogami is not considerate in the least, unfortunately.]
In any case, I came to keep you company and making sure you're not wallowing in some despair that could harm us all, ultimately.
[Translation: I actually care, so here I am.]
no subject
I'm not planning on killing anyone here right now if that's what you're worried about: that would just be giving them the satisfaction more so than getting anything out of it for myself.
no subject
I figured that would be the case, however, I wanted to make sure that despair didn't swallow you, or something like that.
[Ugh, how the fuck does he do feelings?]
In other words, despite the fact we've barely met I think I can say, with confidence, that I'm here for you.
no subject
... Were you worried that I was going to do something else instead?
[Kogami can probably guess what he means by "something else" other than killing someone here.]
no subject
[Maybe if he were being honest with himself. ]
I'm already someone who has dealt with the pain of loss and I'd be rather not experience it again.
no subject
You would consider it a loss? As you've said, "we've barely met" and all.
[Not that he was actually considering it, but he's now interested in the fact that Kogami would be bothered by it.]
no subject
Take it as you will, I suppose.
[He would be bothered by it, but he wonders if he should actually admit that more than he already has.]
no subject
Why? I mean, you seem to have managed well enough over the past two weeks of losses we've already had here.
no subject
I... didn't exactly get to know them. Arietta I spoke with once, otherwise I never spoke with the others, really.
[A beat.]
You...
[Fuck...]
...It's different. Maybe I was reading into things and thought that maybe you slightly cared. Though more than likely you were just trying to make sure a murder wouldn't happen.
no subject
... Kogami, are you trying to say that you like me?
[his tone is teasing, but there's definitely a note of curiousity in his words, too]
no subject
This is one time where it's tough. He's not sure how to describe it. Psychologically, it shouldn't be possible to get this attached to a person so quickly, but he can't deny he found himself attached to Tsunemori pretty quickly too when she took interest in him.
Maybe that's what it boiled down to. Two people unwanted by society-- or maybe he's reading into it again.
So after all that thought and silence, there's only one word.]
Maybe.
[Good job, Kogami, good job.]
no subject
"Maybe", huh...
[Danny takes a drag of his own cigarette for a moment, before he speaks again.]
We've barely met, but... I like you too.
[He puts his cigarette out against his desk here (maybe he should start keeping an ash tray or something in here given the amount of times Kogami has stopped by, honestly) before he sits down on his bed next to Kogami. Not too close to be touching him, but close enough that either one of them could if they wanted to.]
I'm not going to do anything desperate here... so don't worry so much, alright?
no subject
...he may be a hound dog, but he still needs the support of a master, because if he goes blindly on his own, it will likely lead to a path of destruction.]
Did it seem like I was worried?
[Dumbass question, of course it did. He's just trying to lighten whatever mood just came in this room that's kind of awkward now. It's not bad, but just a little awkward.]
no subject
["We're not used to people caring about us like that" isn't said, but it sure is implied.]
no subject
Let's be real, it is just a piece of clay but it works for the intended purposes Kogami attempted to make something for.]
Is it? I figured I may have been putting my nose into some business I shouldn't have. It worried me.
[Which is something he does anyway, but then personal feelings happened, yaddah yaddah...]
Honestly, there's not many people I come to really like.
[Let alone care about. Kagari and Kunizuki are his co-workers, but he wouldn't get too emotional over them. Pops is like a second father to him and, well, he looks up to him like a mentor.
Gino, it's complicated. And Tsunemori-- well... it's like what's implied. She cared for him and here he is.
Maybe it's because some sort of barrier is broken here. He's not seen as someone bad because he's a 'latent criminal'. In fact, most people seemed confused by it...
...and they treat him like a human. Even if he can't do that himself.
Now it's just silent...
...what now...?]
no subject
[Which might be why his tone sort of goes from teasing to oddly sincere as he pokes Kogami in the arm to punctuate his words with.
"Don't die on us" isn't said, but it's sure as hell implied.]
no subject
[Just an ever so slight feeling he has.]
Though I'm afraid being reckless is kind of who I am.
[Danger excites him, yet he doesn't want to die. It's funny, isn't it?]
no subject
Being reckless is part of the job I suppose, but I expect you to not intentionally try to get yourself killed here at least.
no subject
[He gives a rather forceful tap with the back of his hand to Danny's shoulder. There's a bit of a smile on his face, so perhaps openly feels time may be over.]
I expect the same of you-- to not get yourself killed, and all.
no subject
no subject
[He doesn't exactly want to be a walking target for someone who has a secret they'd kill to keep.]
