Week 3.

WEEK 3

Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place.

But surely no one else will give into them, right?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking.

Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time.

PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

I did! I was thinking: if I want to survive out there, I'll need to know how to build a shelter. I'm doing great, if I say so myself!

[This fort is bound to be almost a permanent fixture, unless someone's really determined to rip it off from the floor]

That's a good idea. Looks pretty sturdy, too!

[She'll shake the fort a little bit to prove her point. ...Gently. It is still cardboard and blankets.]

Will you need a shelter though, Robot-san? I thought electronics did better in cool places.
dangerousfool: (Go ahead! It'll be fine)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-19 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't ever been outside, I have always been indoors.

[So yeah...if anything, he'd rather be cautious, just in case]

Besides if you're in a shelter the birds can't get to you, and there are always lots of birds outside. I have to be careful.

[Whoa hold up.]

You've never been outside before? Really?

[...Well, it would be hard to get outside with the lack of limbs, but-]

Are you allergic to birds or something?

[That is exactly how robots work.]
dangerousfool: (That was a jump. Say apple)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-19 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Never. Why'd I be taken outside? Everything I was assigned to do was inside the facilities.

[He has seen what's outside those buildings, and these last few years nature got into the facility, but other than that Wheatley hasn't ever been outside]

Birds are the natural enemies of machines, mate.

[They totally aren't]

[personal profile] gymasstics 2017-06-19 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
...Since when? I thought they were only the natural enemies of cars and benches.
dangerousfool: (good luck)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-20 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
Since always! Birds tear off your circuits and make nests out of them. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I remembered I made a mother raven angry, she was a fearsome creature!

[All because he accidentally crushed her eggs. Stupid birds...]

[...What kind of freakish birds does he even-]

Well, birds tend to fly away from us humans, so if any of them give you any trouble, I'll scare them off. There's nothing to worry about.
dangerousfool: (A slight case of brain damage)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-20 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[Somehow, Wheatley's optic seems to be overflowing with gratitude at such offer]

Shucks, you don't have to do that, I'll just stay away from them. Besides that's what this fort is for once I'm out of this hospital.

QQ also tried to give me survival tips.

We're friends, right? Friends look out for each other.

[She has the survival skills of a paper bag, but she can absolutely shield him from birds.]

If you ever need any help with your fort, let me know, okay? You could probably upgrade it from blankets to fabric from the sewing room now.
dangerousfool: (It's no problem)

[personal profile] dangerousfool 2017-06-21 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
Of course we're friends!

[Wheatley doesn't remember hearing the word 'friend' directed at him. Scientists kept everything impersonal and didn't like him because of his incompetence -- most likely -- and the one human who woke up doesn't say a thing.

It's nice to hear that]

I think I could need your help, hear me out: what if...

...what if we can add wheels to this shelter? Make a vehicle, it'd be good.

[On one hand, that would be an absolute disaster on the snow. On the other hand, she doesn't want to rain on his parade.]

I don't see why not. We'd need to find wheels, though.
