Week 3.
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

...Consider it appreciated.
[God, he's awkward.]

She's also a very quiet girl, really, and after a flash of a smile, returns her attention to her target. Whatever else she's lacking in, archery seems to be one of her callings. There's no wasted movement or energy; instead she pushes the air out of her lungs, string pulled back before she holds the position, and then lets the arrow fly.
A bullseye... sort of. Within the red, the arrow is pulled fractions of a centimeter to the left, which is why Sakura doesn't look all that pleased and in fact lowers her bow in vague disappointment.] I'm out of practice.
[Girl maybe chill a little]

Normally that would be the sort of sentiment I'd express, but targets have little meaning for me nowadays - what matters is that I can hit an entire head-sized target.
It'll come back, I'm sure.
[...that's sort of morbid.]

But dream she did, and Sakura gives a pinched smile because that wasn't funny but what else is she supposed to do?]
You sound like a dangerous man, Wesker-san. [Said in the same tone as a girl picking daisies.] But it's true... depending on what you use the arrow for, I guess pin-point accuracy loses its meaning.

[He shrugs a little bit, though.]
And I wouldn't say "dangerous" so much as "prepared" - perhaps to a fault, but there are worse faults to have.

[She doesn't even mean anything by this; honestly, she finds his confidence fascinating]

[Welcome to Resident Evil: Clearly, Our Massive Egos Will Protect Us.]

But doesn't that count as underestimating your opponent?
[Arrows can wait. Someone pick this man's brain apart for science.]

At the same time, there's a set standard that I'm held to.

[Wrestling mountain lions must be on that list]
I know I praised your aim before, but that really is unnatural for first-time users.

I've been trained for years, so it isn't as though I've never held a weapon before.

[She's looking at the crossbow, and then after a pause:]
May I try as well?
no subject
[...That said, though.]
Do as you will.

Actually shooting the damn thing? It might be a testament to her skill that she hits well within the boundaries of the target, but it's not in the bullseye.
She has the nerve to look at the crossbow, affronted.]
This is... different.
no subject
I'd imagine so. Though to be fair, I doubt I'd fare much better with traditional bows.

[Lord, she almost sounds snooty when she ways it.]
But you don't need the same amount of arm strength with this. The targeted muscle groups are different, too.
