Week 3.
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

[He's very curious to see what it's like to use a bow and arrow, and better it be someone who actually knows what they're doing than him, right?]

[Slightly taken aback by the request, Sakura nods nonetheless before walking off to set up. An arrow is taken from her quiver, nocked against the bow string in one smooth motion, and then she blows a deep sigh out of her nose.
Archery is a sport of concentration, strength, and aim, and while Sakura would never profess to have any upper body strength, she excels in all other areas. The arrow is lined up and fired within the same second.
Outer edge of the bulleye. She sighs a little and relaxes] I'm sorry, I'm out of practice.

[Then again, he spends a lot of time working so he doesn't get out much.]

It's not as interesting to watch, I admit, and there's not the same kind of fame associated with it, like compared to football.

... And it doesn't involve broken bones from people tackling one another too roughly in trying to catch a ball.

she's really happy.]I can show you how, if you'd like? It's very soothing actually...

[eagerly about to hand off her bow, though after a pause, she reconsiders]
Maybe we should get you your own bow. The tension on mine might not be enough.
no subject
[He wouldn't know what would be considered "good" tension or not for him here.]

Afterward comes checking the bows themselves. She'll test a few herself, pulling back the bowstrings until she finds one that would be considered a bit too taunt for herself]
Please try this one. [She hands it over, smiling energetically] Just pull the string back with your dominant hand, all the way to your ear. It shouldn't be so hard that you struggle, but if it's too easy, we'll need to adjust.
no subject
Alright...
[Danny holds the bow carefully, pulling the string back as instructed from where they're facing the targets... his aim's off though, so he might need to be directed on making sure his aim is more proper here if he has any hope of actually hitting the target at all.]
no subject
Okay! Go ahead and shoot.

... lets the arrow go, where it barely manages to connect with the furthest edge of the target. Which is probably the best that one could hope for on their first try, right?]
no subject
See? You did wonderfully! Most people don't hit the target their first time. [It's not a lie. She hit the dirt on her first go]
The rest is a bit of trial and error, as you get used to the bow and how the arrow arcs through the air.

I see... I'll do my best to continue practicing while I can, then.

Archery is more of a solitary sport, but it can be fun with company.
