Week 3.
Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

[Though the sure amount of arrows is probably a bad sign to begin with.]
...Though it does look like something must have happened to it.
[He says, moving to touch one of the walls.]

[She relents the opinion after a sigh] Given the force, I wonder if someone used the crossbows for something.
no subject
[He runs a hand against the wall carefully.]
There are a lot of weird mysteries in this place, aren't there?
no subject
... I always wondered why it's just us here.
no subject
I mean beyond the patients. Are live-in staff common in hospitals?
[This seems to be a genuine question.]
no subject
I hadn't considered that. [Expression thoughtful, she also approaches the wall, examining the cracks]
To be honest, I haven't been in enough hospitals to know, but I don't see why it's not possible. If the location was remote, or if the patients were long-term...
[Then yes, it's possible the staff would be called to live in the hospital walls]

[She glances at the wall again, looking ominous to her eyes suddenly]
Where did all the people go?
no subject
[He looks uncomfortable.]
It doesn't.... seem very good, does it?
no subject
[She's not a girl of optimism, and her tone reflects it. The statement is there for other people to take comfort in, if they want it]
no subject
[He doesn't sound very optimistic, either.]
no subject
She reaches back and nocks an arrow against the string, back turned]
Do you shoot, Greed-san?
no subject
A little bit.

I'm probably being too serious about this anyway.

[He strides over to grab a bow and a quiver.]
It's been a long time since I've been able to do anything like this.
[He draws the bow, firing once. He absolutely doesn't hit the center of the target; it's pretty clear Greed isn't used to anything remotely resembling ranged combat, though he does seem to be familiar regardless.]
no subject
Have you ever used other weapons then?

[glancing at him curiously]
Do you have more strength than the average human?
no subject
[....]
Normally, anyway. Here, I'm just as strong as a normal human.
[Maybe a little weaker, considering how he looks like death stilll.]
no subject
So you don't have access to your usual gifts either.
no subject
Seems that way. From what I've heard from people who were willing to tell, it sounds like that's true across the board. I'm not sure I understand why, because my abilities are... biology, for lack of a better term for it.

[However, he's a homunculus, a being not strictly made fro-- ugh, wrong canon. Sakura sighs under her breath and tries to think this through]
If it's not magic, maybe it's anything that would give us an advantage over our captors.

If we could bust out of here right away, the Risen wouldn't be able to do much about this "game."
