Week 3.

WEEK 3 Grace and Doug are dead. It seems that there isn't anything more to do but mourn your losses and try to move forward. The Transmitter's rules still hang in every room, a reminder of the only means of escaping this place. But surely no one else will give into them, right? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, however, it seems your efforts won't go unrewarded; another set of corridors have opened up, much in the same fashion as the other new area did last week. With them come new rooms to explore; maybe some of them will be to your liking. Or perhaps it's better to say that hopefully some of them will; after all, if the Transmitter gets her way, you may be here for a very, very long time. PATIENTS REMAINING: 26

I see, then we're in a similar situation! I'm glad, actually. The idea of a disjointed memory seemed so silly to me until I knew someone else was experiencing it.

It does make QQ wonder how they did that to memories though, if it really is that. This place has lots of mysteries.

How advanced! To think that technology could surpass the powers of a saint like that...

Ohh? What do you mean?

[ She knows it's probably about the airship or the memories, but she feels like it could go either way there. ]

The airship. [ She shakes her head a little. A ship that flies through the air... like that? or at least, that's what she would assume based on the name. She exhales. ]

I'm getting ahead of myself though. In relation to the memories.. the Transmitter actually claims that wasn't intentional.

Okay, got it!

[ That's...strange and something to keep in mind, definitely. Just not now. Airships are funner to talk about this time of day. ]

So there is nothing like an airship where you come from?

Not at all!

[ She... laughs a little at that, the idea of it! ] I can't even picture sailing through the sky!

The shape and mechanics are different, but it did seem like sailing through sea. But windier? And more, um, pressure.

[ She's trying to mime it out, but the most you can get out of it is likely "moves diagonally from ground to air". At least, that's what it looks like. ]

I'm not sure I understand what you mean?

Uuuumm... Basically, it mimics birds! But it has to use tons of gas to move itself up first.

[ Second try's the charm? ...Maybe. ]

...Gas? I'm sorry, could you speak more clearly?

Hmmm...how else to explain... Have you seen balloons before?

I... [ she's not sure she understands the relevance. The balloons she's familiar with would only ever be filled with water ] suppose?

They fly up and up like balloons can!

[ alas, this would be a lot easier if balloons were in the storage room ]

... Balloons don't fly, QQ.

They do with helium! But that's probably not here.

How -- would you isolate the helium to put in the balloon?

[ Isn't that a part of the air??? ]

You isolate...? Um... Dunno?

[ does it look like she stayed awake for science class ]

All QQ knows is that some people know how to put it in tanks. And if they want helium in something, they attach it to the tank! Or...something like that?

You produce tanks of ... gas? [ Huh. ] Similar to a smoke bomb?

Kinda like that, yes! Except instead of going boom, it goes woosh!

[ she ain't quitting her day job anytime soon ]

... I still don't think that I understand, but that's alright.

[ She tilts her head ]
